What’s fun is my G400 ( los angeles) usually has a crowd around it because nobody knows what it is. If they see Yamaha or Honda nobody would really care. Make sure to get the stock windshield for that bike it works brilliantly
This bike is rebranded here in the Philippines as the Cafe 400 under MotorStar. We have a carburetor variant being sold at Php 145,000 (USD 2,552). We have alot of users here with some running at 30,000KM with no problems. I just got one few weeks ago and made a video in my channel removing the brand sticker lol. Overall, great video!
Is there a center stand available for this machine? A 370 pound wet, 30 HP machine is a real head turner. The Zongshen Honda knock off has a lot of possibilities for the go-fasters too. Well done.
Great video! Thanks. BTW, I’ve had bikes (Royal Enfield or my HD Nightster) that you had to both have it in neutral AND have the sidestand down. Good grief! Of course, I’ve yet to stall my ‘22 G400C 😉
Этот мотоцикл по всему миру продают. Только везде под разным названием. У нас в России он называется Combat 400. Тоже такой хочу приобрести. И если уж янки его нахваливают, то брать есть смысл👍
There is apparently a Scrambler version of this, and a 650 version using the old Honda 650 XR motor. Will Genuine be carrying these soon? The 400 Scrambler has a nice 2 into 1 exhaust. The 650 would be a nice road bike for the "No longer petite" of us...
I was wondering besides the obvious difference in speed/power. what’s better for a beginner, a Suzuki TU250x or Genuine G400c and I’m 5’5 so would 31inch seat height vs 30inch make much of a difference?
I love the TU250, but it is a little short on power. Especially compared to the G400C. The seat height is nearly identical. You'll have to sit on them to know which works best for you. My wife is 5'3" and loves the G400c
Thank you for the review. I am looking into 2 bikes to purchase as my first bike and would love your opinion since you have riden both. The genuine g400c and the benelli 302s. I am 6'1" 250lbs. Looking mostly for a city bike but would like to be able to ride up to a 150 miles one in a while. Thanks
I now own one and I absolutely love it!! Plenty of low end grunt, wonderful stock rumble, just a very mechanical fun bike to ride. The bike has its own personality with unique quirks. Why build a bike with too much power and design for the track?? You ride Recklessly you die -it’s just that simple!!
@@geraldscott4302 the fuel injection is what makes it better than older bikes. it has way better fuel economy, jets won't get clogged, elevation isn't an issue and it will always start. if you don't appreciate the value of that then just stick to old carbed bikes.
I'm very interested to see how the new Enfield 650's hold up. I'm glad they bumped the motor size on the Himalaya. These cheap bikes are a blast. We're all just keeping our fingers crossed tho'.
The more I hear about this bike, the more I want one...

yep, many people have thought it was a restored vintage Honda.

Looks like a cool little bike.
would love a walk around/riding video on your scrambler version of this bike!
Greetings from Mexico!! Great bike!!...I think in Mexico is named LUCKY 7 by VENTO MOTORCYCLES!!...

How has it held up ever since you got it?

Honda CB400SS clone my friend. Circa 2002-2006. That's a good thing too.

Hi from Greece . I own one by the name Daytona rockstar 400 and i want to change the steering wheel ...what do you suggest
I think I finally found my first bike
did you end up getting it?? how is it? I'm thinking about it for my first
@@nadn1399 I ended up not getting it and got a buick car instead
@@thegodhoward8037 hope you still get it at some point

Which one did you end up picking?
How much hp has that bike?
What’s the riding position like? are you leaning over a bit? Hows the torque? Thx
Standard - medium bike, just like a cb350 from the 70's.

Just amazing how much torque the G400 has at low speed
We dont have this in Houston yet
I actually ordered one from South Carolina and had it delivered here to Texas lol
@@johnpeterson9303 how is it?
If it had a carburetor instead of a computer and a centerstand I might be interested. At least it doesn't have ABS
Based on your statement, you seem like the kind of guy who should go find a GB500 or an older sr500
Maybe like this one?

that's dumb. just get an old bike. why are you looking at a modern bike if you only want old tech?
@@purpleether5405 I have 5 older bikes. The G400C just caught my attention. It would be such a nice bike if it were not computerized.

Not much of a test of the bike's abilities when you're limited to 30 mph.
Id put that money toward a royal enfield

Then, go buy a RE bike.
