Paul I so enjoy hearing you and granny sing that even if a mistake is made it does not at all deminish the outcome---and I mean that with all my heart. The song always brings tears to my eyes and this morning was no exception....I would love to start every day with a song from you and 'granny'. Tell her that I appreciate her willingness to allow you and Tipper to video her whether it is her singing, cooking, talking, or answering questions....in fact I have a question for her, I can not recall if she was a quilter....my grandmother crocheted alot and like granny my grandma crocheted several bedspreads (those things are super heavy). Back to the quilting, maybe if granny did not quilt she might be familiar with many of the quilt patterns--of course grandma made double wedding ring quilts (one she made and gave me was out of the clothes my mother wore when she was a baby, she made many different quilts but the two she most prized were her poinsettia quilt and her crazy quilt, so my question is if granny quilted what was her favorite and if she did not quilt did someone in her family? There was not a craft my grandmother did not do, plus she had the gift of if she saw something somewhere she had never done before she would write down a few notes about it then go home and make it....I have heard granny say she has done some things that she did not have a pattern to but just looked at a picture and figured it out on her own (this is another reason I have adopted granny as mine because she continues to remind me of my own grandmother)
