TY Crystal!! I'm showing this video to my handicapped client who makes hats for homeless. She doesn't have internet but likes your tutorials! Stay crafty.❤xo💜xo💙xo💛xo💖xo💚
I'm new and thought this would be a good project to learn after my 1st scarf. I was able to follow along easily and just finished this minute! Thank you so much!🎉 Edit: for newbies like me I found that at times I could slow down the video to 50 or 75% for ease in learning.
Hi Crystal.. have been a member for a few years. Love your patterns and instructions are clear visually and listening to you. I made hats for a donation at my church. They came out great! Keep them coming ! Thank you for sharing.
Chrystal!!!❤️ I made this hat; it took a day, many froggings but I held my patience and the final result was perfect !!!♥️♥️♥️ I was never good at hats and this tutorial got me through it! My confidence is steadier, so im going to try another one of your tutorials making another more "complicated" hat! Thank you for your time, your heart and your descriptive videos that get people like me to the finish of a project! Btw, I have made many other things from your tutorials such as shawls, scarves, ponchos and they're awesome!❤️❤️❤️ Love and hugs, Lori❤
Hey Crystal,Lily here again. I forgot to add that I'm not a seasoned crocheted. I've only been crocheting 5 r 6 years. Once I discovered utube, I was hooked. Punt intended.Lol. And by the way I'm 78 yrs old. But bull on that old cliche that u can't teach an old dog new tricks. I love, love crocheting. Most of all learning new patterns. Thanks to All u talented ladies. Thanks again. Be blessed. Lily Baker
I cannot thank you enough for this video. Easy to follow and well explained. For some readin when I make hats-beenies, I mess up on my joins🤷♀️ and make larger or small as I go. This is my go to video to keep myself straight. You would think I would remember but oh well, joys of aging 😅
To hear you say you're not very good at magic circles greatly encourages me to keep practicing making hats, which I find very difficult. I have no trouble with magic circles, I can't keep track of my stiches between increases 😄 Thank you for all your help.
Now I want to get me some of that yarn... it looks DREAMY! I'm really liking the "stonewash" look of yarn these days. Let's be honest - I truly like the look of ALL yarn these days! 😉
I have made at least a 100 hats. This was the best pattern I have seen and completed in years. Thanks you very much. I followed to a tee. A wonderful success.
I have just made this for my husband...it is a perfect fit and he loves it. Thank you for.. as always.. sharing your wonderful crochet with us. I am starting your little girls beanie and scarf for my granddaughter and beanies for my children. Honestly I can make things for my entire family all here with your tutorials. Super easy to follow for seasoned crocheters and beginners. Thank you again Crystal. ❤
One of the best examples, that I've personally found. I've made these, as they make wonderful gifts. I'm excited to give them to folks, and the Homeless shelters. However, always seem to miss a step. But with your Video, I believe I can correct it. I'll update once I've finished one, by this example
I’m making this quick easy hat for our homeless shelter. I love how quick it works up and it’s very nice looking. Thank you Crystal for this easy pattern!
I will be busy making hats this year and this is a nice pattern for the ladies in my area . In the winter though a nice tight stitch is best since this weather has been so weird this year all ready. If every one keeps getting a ton of rain I might be making swimming hats for everyone.
Yes I like your hat and like the way you take your time to explain each step. I am going to make it after I write the steps down. Love your videos. Good job.
It is now 9/15/2021 and this pattern did not get old or outdated. I just made this hat and will be making more of these. Thank you for the years of great tutorials.
I just saw your Hobby Lobby haul and was so excited. I think its funny how your husband encourages you. I got myself a small haul in Kansas City when I took my husband for some tests before he has his cancer surgery. Between loom knitting and knitting with needles and crochet, I am making hats for several charities and so really appreciate your tutorials. Thank you so much.
I've been watching s9me of your videos. I can't wait to get started on one of your beanies. I mostly use Red Heart yarn, but you have me checking out other yarn companies. You make crocheting look so easy. I would love to learn the new stitches you know. Thank you for sharing your talent. ❤
I finally made it!!! And now my daughter wants fingerless gloves to match. It turned out really cute and I absolutely love this pattern. Thanks Crystal
I daw you with this hat and I loved it. I want to make me and my greatgranddaughter one. Im glad you have the tutorial. I had missed it when you did it Thanks you.
I made my first beanie and I love it! Thank you for this video, it was so clear and easy to follow. I'm not great with the magic circle so I was relieved that I could avoid that at the beginning. And I have never done the post stich double crochet and that looks really cool and makes a great bottom part to the beanie. I'm going to make a few more with this pattern right away for loved ones. Thanks for the tutorial!
I have tried and tried to make a hat forever. I've even tried your hats that start at the bottom and go up. (I have a hard time when it comes to fitting a certain amount of stitches wherever they'll fit to make them even around.) Anyway, I made this hat and finished it. I was so proud of myself and thankful to your great instruction. I found out that I crochet very loose so I'll go down a hook size next time. I really appreciate the time you take to make these tutorials and explain them in a way that I could understand.
Thank you for all your generosity, Crystal! I've been crocheting for 50 years, but I think of myself as a young crafter, haha! In following your hat patterns I always find my seamlines curved, do you ever make them straight or hidden? I'm always making hats for charities, it's a joy!
I would like to thank u .I just made this beanie with u on this video.I'm proud to say it came out great .Youbare a great teacher .Will be make more I'm in love with my beanie .Thank you again Crystal .
