I am working this pattern now using bulky wt yarn and size 10 hook. I am enjoying this creation🎉 I like Crystal’s tutorial style with video demonstration. It is easy to follow even with my rewinds for better understanding.
It worked so easy. I had less rows, but it fits very nicely on my head. The puff stitch is such a great texture touch.

A friend gave me a skein of blue yarn in almost that shade but without the metallic. Just yesterday! I was trying the chocolate beanie but something went wrong. I just made a hat very similar to this last night using a different tutorial. Now I'm kicking myself in the behind for not finding YOUR tutorial sooner. Much clearer explanation! No worries tho. I'm kind of new to crochet. Practicing by making different types of hats and donating to the less fortunate and elderly/disabled. Just another hat to out under my belt. I cant thank you enough!
Hi Crystal just want to say I love your tutorials their great and so easy to follow. I've been watching your tutorials since July of 2014 they got me through my time of sitting in. Chair doing chemo but I'm cancer free yeah. Anyway I love your beanies their great I love all your tutorials along with creative grandma and Mikey from crochet crowd and Nadia faud but you and Grandma are by far my favorite in that order keep doing your tutorials I look forward to them.
