Technically they have it already. It's just broken up into three skills: critical strike, penetrate, and pierce. I agree, it would have been nice to combine them though. They could make it two seperate masteries for bow/xbow and jav/spear. And I really like what they did for throwing barbarians with the chance to not reduce quantity and critical strikes restoring some quantity. Do the same for arrows. And yes, this would take away one of the perks of Magic Arrow. Maybe tweak MA to compensate.
Best in slot helm is artisan tiara of speed.. 30%frw with 3 open socs for 15%ias 15max dmg jewels. End result is a 30frw 45max dmg 45ias.. with faith grandmatron bow (strongest amazon bow) having at least a lvl 14 fanat, ucan hit 95 ias wit nosferatus belt and cat eye ammy to get max break point in ias.. tested to b the highest physical dmg bowazon aside from a hustle bow on swap setup
Also ur ring that gives u mana leech is good enough to get u ur mana back alone u don’t need the windforce tbh jus have to make sure ur always hitting enemies wen multishotting.. and to add to that, if u spec a point into strafe u can jus use strafe to get ur mana back in one click due to how fast the arrows hit and how little mana u need to leech to fill up. I personally maxed strafe on my build and switch between the 2 skills for different reasons one being mana return on strafe. I would change the windforce to a harmony bow to swap to a faster run/walk speed wen not in combat.. makes clearing speed better as u will be running much faster between packs, or a tele staff on swap could even got with a mist bow for the meditation aura
@@KrusherMike gl finding that’s gg tiara.. next best thing is going with a matriarchal bow and needing less ias but achieving slightly less clear speed on average, not sure how much ias is needed but ull still need at least lvl 14 fanat to hit max ias with gear, so u may not need that tiara… even wit the most godly gear bowazon is a p3 at best build so spend ur runes wisely… charms alone for this build are 1-3 jah a piece on PlayStation (max dmg, attack rating / life or frw small and grand charms) charms give about 20% of my dmg and I have all the gear I listed in the first comment (some of the best bowa gear)
I greatly prefer using Faith on A1 merc and Windforce on my bowazon, especially if you're going to use a maxed out valk as tank. Seems a waste to double up tanks like that. Plus in cows you can pull a much, much bigger group without using valk/A2 merc screwing up the grouping. I also keep a Cat's Eye amulet to swap out with Highlord for bosses, it solves a big part of the slow movement speed problem and the DPS difference isn't that much between the two amulets, only really noticeable on bosses.
Does guided arrow through the roof and an insight merc not work? I remember when guided arrow was a great multi panel attack but I feel like I don’t see it used much anymore.
@kevincanares3275 That would be a proc from the hellfire torch in the inventory. The torch has a chance to cast firestorm on attack. I actually find it a little annoying, but the torch is too good to not have on.
Diadem on 11:15 can't have 200% bonus to ar. If "Visionary" prefix rolls, it would be +1% bonus ar based on char level (so max is 99% bonus ar on 99 lvl). Also, rare item can have max 3 prefixes + 3 suffixes. Your Diadem has 5 prefixes: +2 ama, 30% ed (80% from jewels), fake "Visionary", all res, 2 sockets. I can advise to use maxroll planner next time to see correct prefixes / suffixes, then you can create "legit" items in hero editor.
I'm aware of the Prefix/Suffix rules of item creation. I wasn't trying to take that helm too seriously, more trying to really highlight that even with some godly gear that on P8 she still needs a bit of help. My bad tho I should have clarified that that helm wasn't a possible roll
I mainly play online for a few reasons, the main being that I play on a few different platforms (PC, PS5, Switch) and I want to be able to access the same characters across all. I also really enjoy the trading aspect, SSF on single player can be rough going. I really only use single player for theory crafting builds and testing P8.
Strafe lock is unfortunately still a thing but it's not a massive deal. Each level of Strafe will increase attack rating and amount of arrows fired (caps at 10) and its synergies will increase damage. When i play Strafe i max Strafe and all of its synergies to get as much damage output as possible and utilise Valk and Decoy to assist with crowd control and Strafe lock. Rest of the skill points get put the rest in Crit Strike, Penetrate and Pierce (how many depends on if using Razortail). Strafe is really powerful as it allows procs on hit and excels in areas where monsters are bunched up of narrow areas.
i always felt like pvm bowa really goes for fire or ice, multishot is okay if you got a lot of charms, but otherwise the elemental damage nowadays is value with the addition of sunder charms, with phys bowa u dont want bowa lifers, u actually just want dmg charms
Agree on the bow skillers, they are just mainly to save me putting hard points into multi and to buff the damage of guided for boss kills. 3/20/20s are where it's at but I cant afford an inventory full of those. Freezing arrow build is a heap of fun and actually how I like to level up my Zon in a playthrough.
My multishot bowzon uses freezing arrow to kill physical immune monsters. It's a 1 point wonder. For the monsters that are immune to physical & cold I used magic arrow, which also only 1 point
The damage charms are better. The +skills on this build aren't as important as other builds. The grand charms can give more damage and attack rating than the small charms, so if you're on a budget you can stack your inventory with basic +10 dam grand charms and +3 dam small charms and that'll outperfrorm skillers.
I find Strafe much better than Guided Arrow. I use Strafe for when there are 1-3 enemies and Multi-shot when there are 3 or more enemies for the most part. I also sacrifice Fortitude for Enigma because with Fanaticism, Concentration, and Might I find that's enough ED. And lastly, I find damage charms better than skillers.
That's definitely a viable way to run the build. I only use guided arrow on bosses because of their high defence and Guided always hits taking attack rating out of the equation. My preference is against enigma, purely because the Zons FCR is bad at the best of times and with no FCR gear on it isn't actually much quicker for general gameplay, tho I admit it would be nice to jump over River straight into Chaos!
First time in 10 years of SSF playing D2, I've found a Windforce in HC (by the way I had a brain lag, and though that a base for it is called Colossus Bow 🤦🏻♂, so probably I was ignoring any dropped Hydra Bow before) and damn what a pleasure to play Bowazon, I recommend everyone to try it, one thing, download lootfilter mode which makes your screen blink when you have a drop of HR, because you will slay everything around your screen, and sometimes there can be a good drop 😉 GL everyone!
@RNGesus-du3mh from what I've seen from other videos, it's comparable to windforce and faith but better for ice maidens. I like that is uses a cham as that rune has had very little use in the past.
@@RNGesus_Channel I wonder if Mist with a Reapers Toll on your merc would be faster for P8 cows? I used to play Phys Bowa but ive been enjoying Ice Maiden a lot more recently....the gear is so just so much cheaper on elemental.
I wish they would add a bow mastery and increase bows base damage
All weapon bases in the game need a drastic buff.

They don't need a buff, just can't go only physical. Fire or cold or 1 and multi is fine for hell. Or some way to break immunes and lower their res.

Also crushing blow only applies to the middle 2 arrows of the cone in multi shot so it’s not as good as one would think, to stack cb

Shamelessly copying this for my Bowazon.

I do the same 👍😂
Thanks for the great video. Iove pysical bowazon so much ever since. And then you take a mosaic assasin, that can do players 50 at ease. Sad story.
It's very sad. I, too, have a bowzon much better than this one, but it's still the worst character I have by far.

she rips! I love my strafezon

Was your attack speed capped with WF? looked slower

No 2 to bow skills gloves?
2:17 Synergies do continue to build even when reach max arrows. So you are getting something back for the mana spent.
I made a hybrid multishot/strafe build and it clears most maps in hell and most importantly, it's chill/fun to play.
