These will only be useful for another 15 years or so but the oldest fighters in inventory are in much worse shape and have lower capability levels. MiG-21 should be scrapped and Jaguars stored in inactive reserve. Many APCs and SPGs should also be built. Small arms should be acquired in large numbers, including portable anti tank weapons. Cold weather gear should be purchased for several divisions, most crucially the insulating base layer. I know there have been some purchases but not nearly enough and not with sufficient urgency to get delivery in time to distribute prior to an early winter conflict.

So your sense of "dispute" is really not a dispute. It is just Indians squatting on the ground and hope the Chinese will give up and leave. Then any territory occupied by the PLA that is on the Indian side of this border is occupied India. India's claim in that region is because some random Brits drew a line on the map and claimed it. And Hindus self-proclaim that all British claims belong to India. China never agreed to it. So your sense of "dispute" is really not a dispute. It is just Indians squatting on the ground and hope the Chinese will give up and leave. No different from a poor Indian squatting on any place and claim that place when other people simply give up.
The official line on a map should be determined through discussion between the Indian government and the Tibet government in exile. Then any territory occupied by the PLA that is on the Indian side of this border is occupied India. The so called line of actual control language should be discarded and instead just call it the front line. The conflict to liberate Indian territory is ongoing. Stop waffling about and giving the PRC any legitimacy in their presence there. They have no business being in Tibet, much less India. Kick them out.
