How to clean the carburetor on a Honda push mower

Using the Honda HRX217 lawn mower I'll show you how to breakdown the carburetor for cleaning. If your mower will start using a starting fluid that means you have spark and it's likely that your carburetor is the issue and it could be that you have build up that prevents the jets and nozzle from spraying fuel properly. Thanks for putting this together. I had an issue with my HRX217 surging (unloaded) after only three years of use. I tried cleaning the carburetor once,, then it wouldn't run at all (except on starting fluid). Following your video, I did it again and it's now back to running well again.

Another Honda carb cleaning but he did not remove the screw on to to access the idle jet.
That jet if not cleaned will cause no idle/surging!

99% its always a gas problem never any dirt or debris cas puts a coating on the jets and makes them smaller
