I gradated with a BFA in 2019 with high A's. Lemme tell you, albeit going to classes for anatomy, we NEVER learned how fabrics draped upon the body in my years of college. I've been struggling for so long with clothes, but for some reason, your video finally made it click for me. Thank you so much for a wonderfully informative video. This is a game changer for me ❤
I'm so glad that this video was helpful! Hearing that makes my day! And big OOF, I had a similar experience in university. I don't think we were taught anything about how to draw cloth or clothes either.. :/ Of course anatomy and gesture is extremely important, but eventually we have to draw characters with clothes on in our careers, so it should be taught more comprehensively then it usually is in art education
Your tutorials have been the most helpful i've watched, I like how you explain how and why you do every little thing. So often in art tutorials I feel myself getting left behind or confused when they do a whole bunch of work off camera. You really help me learn and finally feel like i can do it on my own instead of always copying or following along exactly.
Thanks for the great video! I've always had a hard time figuring how to draw clothes and your method really simplifies the process! I'm glad I could find something that works for me!
Hello, I really love your videos, the tutorials have worked for me and you inspire me, I love your drawing style and I like drawings, they are beautiful💖
You should totally become an art teacher! The way you teach technique is super fun and engaging! I have seen way too many art teachers or professors that suck all the fun out of art. You not only show interest in how to draw, but make everyone else feel excited to learn! Thank you for making these tutorial videos! They help me a lot! :D
The third is the bst because the dress follows the leg action, what got me ''on nerves'' seen you do the 1st without following the legt action... it is that im very serious on these details maybe due to the fact that i have an brother that pull my ear for any detail wrong on draws and paints..hahahha thank you for all the explanations :D
I've just recently found your tutorials and they've been really helpful and fun to watch, I was wondering if there's any plans on making a stylized hair tutorial similar to the skin tutorial? That would be really awesome and super useful I think :D
Your videos are exactly what I have been looking for! Nice detailed explanations that are easy to follow. Would love to show my support on Patreon so I can look forward to content like this and more
Question for anybody who can answer it. How do you know the perspective of the clothes when placing it on your sketch considering the reference photo that they got the shirt from was in a different angle compared to thier pose reference photo.
