Cube World is an open world role-playing video game by German studio Picroma for Microsoft Windows. Wolfram von Funck began developing the game in June 2011, and was later joined by his wife Sarah von Funck. An early alpha version of the game was released on July 2, 2013. The game has not received any updates since July 2013, and became unavailable for purchase in July 2015. A lack of communication by the developer about the game's current development has fueled speculation about its future. In 2019, the developer posted on Twitter that the game would be launched on Steam in the fall of the same year.

There is multiplayer coop, yes! Servers exist now but not too sure if they will still have to be locally hosted or there will be a server system for full release

@@NoobSniper All I remember is purchasing this game, big promises little in return then a blackout. Very similar experience to No Man's Sky, the difference is, No Mans Sky 'fixed' their situation out in a relative 2-3 years. Cube world is now 'relaunching' after 6(it's not like they lacked the funds), watch history repeat itself. (I love the playstyle and atmosphere of this game, but needs to be done correctly and the dev/s needs to come out from under the shroud,).
@@Kiwitastiic I completely understand your point of view and dont disagree with your frustration at the lack of communication and delivery/promises. I'd recommend you read his most recent blog post though as it addresses why there was such a large gap between alpha and released
