where do i get it?
Pro Tip: Don't fight early in the game:
1) Find a pack of strong demon dogs(alpha dog and such).
2) Find a strong creature(not too strong or it could 1 hit kill you).
3) Lure it and run to the pack.
4) Stand close or inside the demon dogs.
5) Wait for the creature attack.
6) DODGE it and let it hit the Demon Dog.
7) Watch them fighting each others.
8) Wait and take the loot.
This is very true and can be used IF you have access to strong friendly mobs, for sure! 👍🏻💪
Half the time I do the, the alpha dogs can’t even damage the enemy mobs, no matter how low tier they are

You forgot to add getting a good pet asap, my horse does some noticeable damage and it helped when starting in a new zone.

I personally think turtles are the best pet to get cause of there spinning attack tha blocks incoming dmg they can deal a good amount of dmg and tank quite a lot
there are only 2 special pets that I know
- Spitter -> Has a ranged attack that can heal you. (similar to water mage's attack)
- Turtle -> Can spin and block damage for you, probably the only pet with an active skill.
Another thing to add to the Lore system. As soon as it hits 100% you will see all artifacts that relate to that specific story on the map. Even in nearby biomes :)
Yes! I didnt get a chance to mention it (and frankly, would take longer than 4 hours) but this is a great point 👍🏻

Pro Tip: Don't fight use those strong demon dogs, lure a strong creature and stand close to the demon dogs so the enemy hit it and they start fighting each other, wait and take the loot.

@@EliosMoonElios Yeah, but there where tutorials even for basic things like catching a fucking pokémon in Red/Blue. We are not gods of knowledge, we need help at the start.
the main thing I got from this video is
"yep just as I suspected, mages are op, and its a good thing as a rogue I target them first in stealth"
Pro tip: Spend your first ~5 minutes marking all POI on your map.
1) White rectangular protrusions may be Shines or a Small lore Temple
2) Brown rectangular protrusions are treasure houses with a randomized door/barrier
3) Grey circular platforms with some protrusions creating either a full or partial ring contain a lore tablet. 1-4 tablets can be found in ruins
4) White irregular protrusions singular or in a ring are Stones of Power, they have a lore tablet on them
5) If the border warps irregularly, this suggests that there's a special item or event in that area. Mark it
Edit: 6) A Gray rectangular platform with 4 protrusions in each corner is a sky shrine and contains a bag of gold, a purble item, or a yellow item

When entering a new biome, you can kill high lvl mobs from the other side of the border where you've got good gear. As long as the mobs die inside the new biome, they will drop items for that biome(not sure if they need to initially spawn there). I used the scouts sand pit to stall mobs and make it a bit easier.

I have finished my first Area in 14 hrs. Got 2 Artifacs, both Manapumps are down and i´m fully legendary with my stuff. All this for a little bit sailing and riding speed. Absolutly not worth.
If there no changes to the release i would rather play the Alpha then the beta.
Did you manage to get some +gear? That does allow you to travel outside of the zone. But I feel your pain for sure 👊

@@NoobSniper I´ve got some +gear. You can craft it if you have these books of crafting. blue sword and chest, purple boots. In a new area i would start with around 700 hp. i also upgrade this blue sword with some iron cubes for more dmg.
@@nitro-lack I like the upgrade to. All these things that you found if you travel around. i´ve played coop with my friend too. but these artifacts are so weak, they dont make any difference. it doesnt feel worth to clear one area after the other one to get some % in riding speed.

@@nitro-lack I mean it is a fair point... You play for a good bit of time to then get nothing worth while. They need to make it more worthwhile to beat a zone cough cough maybe a non zone locked item every zone you beat idk it just a random idea.
Hanzo i have played 40+ hours , got to lvl 20, and then you realize that isn’t that hard to find the + items ( those ítems can be used in the frontier regions) , like a legend sword o smth like that and you can start doing epic quests and then go for the artifacts, making the regions a lot easier ^^
@@Ryan-tr6lz you can get non locked zone items i guess with a + behind, but they are pretty rare

I finished a biome in 2h. If you wanna grind artifacts just play water biomes bcuz you always get a boat on the first island you land on.
yea n I got 5 artifacts in one ocean region. it’s insane.
Oh damn, I havent experienced an ocean biome yet. Now I know what to grind out next!
They are the absolute fastest region to grind, though gear is a little limited, it’s the easiest to travel and pinpoint points of interest. Nice addition.
when i start out i mark everything i can like the shrines lore places and more then i start my adventure it was easy for me to do like that ^^
Yup! I try to do that too (as much as possible). It provides a nice outline and clear path on what landmarks to hit first! 👍
as a Mage there is also the flying trick.. its slightly slower then walking but. you can fly much further then with the glider.
Just jump then as soon as you hit the button press hover.. you will fly up in the air a bit... then let go and press the hover button to reset your speed you'd fall down over and over.
doing that i even managed to get to the top of some hills i wasn't supposed to until i got the right ability.
For me The most op set up is Water Mage Double ring. You can spam first and second attack to heal like 2khp each sec, if you survive at least 1 attack you are unstopable

The way i do it is save one or two gnomes from a quest to be able to buy green or blue gear in towns. With that i can enter the dungeon kill bosses for legendary gear and if i got 3-5 legebdarys. optimal legendary weapons i take on the last boss. If im having a hard time with bossws i save 2 more gnomes for legendary gear to buy. This usually only takes 2 hours since its very straighz forward + in biomes you can have several dungeons so the time per artifact is even lower
Smo-ya this is super effective; but requires a lot of money. So grinding/already having money from previous zones is necessary!
@@sebw8169 well yeah youre right but after the first dungeon you should have enough. And i feel like on the first biome the explorstion aspect is the most fun so as i player i would want to take my time but after that you can steamroll threw the biomes
Find purple areas, find the closest shrine to that, and then farm/grind killing the boss as it's right next to your shrine. Instant legenadary. Then find an artifact area, beat it easy (but with a lot healing items) and win life. I've done it in less than 4 hours.
Great video! But if you want to really powerlevel, go for ocean biomes only. Free all the gnomes that is trapped on that land so you can craft/buy good gear. Do all of the lore reading and when you learn lore you know where the artifacts are. Recognizing the artifact-buildings will also help :)

If you're a mage you don't really need to climb. Press space bar and really quickly afterwards press shift and you'll fly quite high
Cubeworld is proof that Earth is a sphere. With all the grinding, the sharp edges have become rounded.
Get mage > Find a melee boss > Find a ledge > Cheese the boss while shoooting him from above since he wont be able to climb up to you > Reward > Repeat
Try to get the Key Items (Glider,Boat,Harp etc.) and try to go the buildings that need the harp or the skyflute island, they give Yellow drops or gold very early in the game

Artifacts should let you choose what stats you want upgraded. And make it so the further you travel the harder the mobs get. Because right now, afaik, the hardest the game is ever gonna get is the legendary mobs in the first zone. For me, after 8 hours, I have basically completed the game. The next thing to do on my character is to start over.
I would love for the game to allow you to choose what to buff with the artifact. We'll have to see how this game continues in its development path
So you want the game to let you be OP soon, Wollay try to make the game last as much as possible.

Doing oceans are faster (i think). There are only so many islands so you know there is something on them. And in my experience you can find legendary loot laying around on some of the islands.

@@NoobSniper yeah, that's another good thing about that "biome", there is a boat on MOST islands ( sometimes not all for some reason) ^^
Nice video, I would suggest saving the gnomes if possible, they unlock stuff in the shops. If you are unlucky on drops these can compensate for bad luck.
Climbing spikes while nice are not needed, you can still abuse the whole climbing without stamina bug.
Just spam E and Spacebar while climbing, while it does put you at 0 Stamina everytime you jump it still let's you continue spamming.
Maybe the climbing spikes are just E and Spacebar on your left and right feet....
Climbing spikes are not usefull once you learned how to climbcancel (idk if there is an actual name for it, it means canceling the climb with jump, cling onto the wall again with the very little of stamina you have left, and immediately cancel the jump again, repeat and repeat, you can also traverse overhangs with it). And incase you have startet with mage, going for hangglider also seems like a waste, as you can negate falldamage anyways and hangliding isnt faster than teleporting
I wish Trove had some more popularity because I personally enjoyed playing Trove rather than Cube World and I feel like Trove should be have an honorable mention and I get that Trove was pretty much just a redo of Cube World when it wasn’t being updated so I understand that it’s basically a copy of Cube World.
At least you can understand that Trove filled in the gap of voxel ARPGs and not the typical "cUbE wOrLd CoPiEd TrOvE" 😂
I still personally think that the whole deal with region-locking most items is pretty damn stupid.
And the loot-only progression system is incredibly frustrating, as all the mobs you can actually fight at the start of the new region have abysmally low drop rates, and the stuff you get is not even guaranteed to be for your class. Overall, i like alpha much more, even despite all the new additions that are actually good.
I agree because it forces players to kite enemies to stronger ally NPC's and or towards the shrines. Making the gameplay at the beginning pointless because you can't fight anything without having to respawn or relying on NPC's

Zeus could have punished sisyphus by making him play cube world instead
I defeated it in one Hour.. Just find a Alpha Dog or any other mob with 5 stars and green health bar. Aggro 3 or 4 star mobs around it and let them hit the Alpha Dog. He will kill the mobs for you. Repeat it to the Point you got one 4 star Weapon. Then do 4 Star (no boss!) quest for Legendary item, then do 5 star quest. Done in under 60min easy
Artifacts really don't matter. They don't give you shit. It's the gear that makes sense to collect. Artifacts can be side activities.
Tenebris oculi do you understand the artifact is the only thing you can take across zones and that will level up the player

If you get OP after a few artifact then the rest of the gear become garbage to sell like in ALPHA.

How is he doing the beam attack
Its sure makes fun but isn't it a but frustrating when you always need new items in other bioms i mean you always start at lvl 1. I think it would make way more fun when it would have some lvl locked bioms. And gear that you can use everyware. Inshallah still gonna buy this game.
I reach level 60+ in ALPHA and 99% of the creatures are too easy, is not fun to roam for long to hunt bosses and get a challenge, I was planning to keep playing both but I already drop the ALPHA because in BETA each area is like a whole new game.

So I keep hearing that you can only have a maximum of 4 artifacts per zone but I have 6 in my starting zone. Is this rare?
Hmm, might be! Most I've ever seen is 4
I still think the start of the game or a new region is the game's weakest point. You are too weak to fight 90% of the mobs, so it starts basically as a walking simulator. In terms of loot it's also kind of frustrating to fight easy mobs, because drop rates are really low and like you said, not exclusively for your class. If you're lucky to find key items (reins!) and the right quests for your item level early, it's fine, but sometimes you talk to countless NPCs to hear all the same stories about blue or purple quests. Then you have to roam around the region for hours to be lucky enough to find the right place. For me the fun starts, when i own most of the key items and there is a quest chain for each color rarity to follow.
So like, my artifacts spawned outside my zone in like 2 other zones cus the kingdom is huge and now i need to spend a few hours grinding gear again ;c
My first zone had Three Artifacts.
I did one of those floating island quests... got a Gold Staff and steamrolled through.?

Game came out today.
There's a door/gate in my artifact dungeon that won't open, it's either the last or next to last and I'm not sure what Im doing wrong. I think I have all the key items, it's not a door I need the harp or bell for.
There is a whistle too. Or, it might blocked behind a major enemy in and around the area. Once you slay it, it may automatically open or drop a key to use. Let me know how that goes! 😁

I still don't understand how you're supposed to get + items. Ive cleared the entire first zone, gotten 3 artifacts (so im lvl 4) and every single piece of armor and weapons I have is yellow. I have vendored close to 150 *LEGENDARY* items, and from what I can tell found every artifact in the zone and have yet to see a **SINGLE** + item that I can take to another zone. Or the spirit bell for that matter. Haven't seen that either. So WTF?
Spirit Bell may not be in your current zone (as long as you havent come up against a door you need it for?). As for +gear, I feel like the drop rates should be looked at and tweaked a bit for sure

My biggest hope is that Artifacts are reworked to enable boosting of skills AND abilities. Then they would become valuable, your character FEELS (and is) stronger, and conquering zones and collecting artifacts is worth the grind

I played for 7 hours, got all legendary gear aaaaaaand there was no artifact in the region......
There is at least 1 artifact per zone. It might be behind a wall/barrier that needs a key item
@@NoobSniper But i can't find anything on the map i haven't seen already. Gone over just about every inch of the map clearing everything i've seen and still nothing. Talked to all the npc's as well. Probably won't matter since full version is coming out in a few hours
@@happycreepersdk try to talk all the people of the biome/zone then, if no one tells you about a mission go to another biome/zone
@@lexer2297 probably a good idea, I discovered the location of 6 artifacts in other regions by talking to the npcs of that region. But I think its weird because I can't find any undiscovered buildings on the map. So I don't even know where it would be located
@@happycreepersdk idk, when I want to discover something first i look at the map if there is some buildings or a suspicious place near me then I go, if there is nothing I search arround other places

All classes have pros and cons and not all will be equal, but most classes can do this (if not faster)

Is it just me or did the game become too easy? I liked the alpha version because it was a real challenge to find a single legendary and you had to play hours to get to level 10 just to leave the first zone
Could someone tell me from a scale 1-10 how hard the game is compared to the old one (lets say the old one is an 8)
Probably a 6. It is easier but also has much more variety per zone imo
This game just turned into people who loves to spend a month grinding. I'm glad I got my refund cause I would have cried seeing that I don't have a XP bar

@@raysyndrome7209 Good luck with that. My buddy and I spawned in together, he was naturally 65km away from me, making getting every artifact from every region damn near impossible.

How to grind in Minecraft
The moat efficient way is actually to wait for him to patch the game so leveling up does something instead of wasting your time getting an artifact that increases how long you can be underwater
But how else are you going to swim for 6 seconds before drowning???

Stupids complain for the leveling and zone reset because because they can't be OP & make hundreds of potions anymore, basically the game is not God Mode after a while.
Question:
I find a hand glider inside a volcano, I can't use boat or swims in lava How I Get It?
If you're a Mage, you could try and jump+float. Maybe Elixer of Toughness while drinking a healing potion and running fast like Sonic? That's an interesting situation to be in lol

I can top that. In order to get to my glider I need a glider. And in order to get into a green crypt I need to defeat 2 legendary tower bosses.
That game sucks..
You can't fight anything, you just keep dying and dying, with no fair chance against bosses or high level mobs.
You leveling up, grinding in really frustrating way, just to get a 2% movement speed buff...

As someone who loves grinding, I *love* Cube World. I know it's not perfect and may not be everyone's cup of tea but I'm of the belief that everything can be improved/tweaked 👍

@@NoobSniper Of course, it can improve, but I am not going to wait another six years. I'm no longer at college. Now I have a wife and we are planning to have a baby. I was really looking forward to playing it, but it's just a huge disappointment for me.

One more good advice, how to defeat EVERY BOSS as a mage. Just take boss's attention and guide him to your nearest shrine of life. Then , E+R,E+R,E+R. Another tip: just climb to the highest point near the boss, and spam r attack. Done. I killed like that five necromants with 800+ health and one 7k necromant boss.
I may...or MAY NOT...have cheesed a boss like this. It's a bit broken tbh lol
