If you take Mineral Creek from the Ouray side like we did it takes about 2 hours to arrive at Poughkeepsie. Once you are there it is probably another 4 hours to do all of Poughkeepsie and exit down Corkscrew Gulch. Total time should be around 6 hours in total. This time is what it would take a group of jeeps but it could be much faster in something like a SXS.
There is a bypass but it’s not located next to the wall obstacle. You need to turn off at a Y intersection to avoid the wall. If you do this you will avoid the wall and reconnect to the trail close to Lake Como.
@@RVHomeschool your warn winch should help your JLU out if you decide to try it and have issues. 👍🏼 Or you can turn around because it’s not to far to get to the bypass.
Great job! Trying to learn everything I can about Poughkeepsie before my trip next month. Your video is one of the best!
That really means a lot to me. Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. 👍🏼

It’s not to bad if you let some air out of the tires and drive slow. 😊

No bypass for The Wall?
