In this episode of Westward GO we run the trail known as Steel Bender. With obstacles like the fall and the wall it is always a good time. We ran the trail from the North to the South since that seems to be the traditional way. This trail is about 15 miles long and you will climb over 1900 feet from start to finish. Running a normal pace in a jeep this trail should take around 6 hours.
Red Rock 4 - Wheelers rates this trail as a 6. Check out their website for more info and a free GPS track.
Drivers and Jeeps are listed below.
Art - Silver Jeep Wrangler LJR on 35" STT Pros and beadlocks.
Sean - Gray Jeep Wrangler JLUR on 37" STT Pros and beadlocks.
Mike - Silver Jeep Wrangler JKUR on 37" STT Pros and beadlocks.

Your videos just keep on getting better and better! Awesome drone shots and video quality.
Thanks! I really do appreciate that! I’m still learning so I usually have 20 hours just in editing. That alone can make it discouraging to keep pumping these videos out. The nice comments like this help me strive to continue and do better where I can.
Thanks 😊👍🏼
Excellent video, always enjoy.
Thanks Bigskinny! 👍🏼

That second drop Art did in the LJ was pucker moment.
It’s a good one for sure!
12:58...I’m thinking my 33” tires won’t cut it.
Red Rock 4 Wheelers suggests 35s and lockers or limited slip front and rear plus a winch for this one. Not saying you couldn’t do it but you are probably right and 33s might not be ideal.
These trails have been murdered.
what slider are you guys using for the jl please?

Great product and they are really into the Jeep community and wheeling at all kinds of events. Check out the link above. 👍🏼
Is this trail doable with a 2.5 inch lift and 35's and two lockers
Yes. You can find more info in the link below. Biggest concern would be wheelbase. Short wheelbase like a stock wheelbase YJ, CJ, TJ could be tuff in a few areas but you should be fine.

@@AdventureAwaits4u thanks for the reply I forgot to include it's a fdr 2015 Rubicon
@@devildog6899 you should be fine. It is a more aggressive trail then some so 35s and both lockers seems to be the minimum requirement. Make sure you don’t go alone and I hope you have a great time. 😊👍🏼
