That ending contrast we call “ breaking down” . Halford is amazing. He is known have a range of 4 octaves. Just an amazing singer. Built for metal.
I was at this show about 15 people from the front row on Glenn Tipton’s side. I just turned 17 the week before and partied straight for seven days. The 1983 US Festival in San Bernardino California. 350,000+ metalheads rocking out to Quite Riot, Mötley Crüe, Ozzy Osbourne, Judas Priest, Triumph, Scorpions and Van Halen to close out the night. One of the best concerts I’ve been to in my life. I’ve been to hundreds of shows this by far the biggest and the craziest I’ve ever been to. Fun reaction to something that takes me back to my teenage years.👏👏👏🤙🤙🤙🤘🤘🤘

I was at this concert I had just turned 18 US 83 was monumental. Judas Priest came to rock.
I was only 8 then. Wish I’d been older and gone to that show. Jealous!
Listen to " Blood Red Skies" off the "Ram it Down" album from Judas Priest. The vocals of Rob Halford are on another planet. Studio version is a lot clearer.
