This song is an absolute rock masterpiece. There will never again be a voice like Ronnie's.
Ever
Yes..
Thats right he is the best Singer ål time
Yes there will be, when he will be back again and walk this earth.
Absolutely right
THE best rock song EVER EVER EVER
R.I.P. DIO. One of the greatest voices of all time of ANY genre
R.I.P Dio, Cozy Powell and Jimmy Bain. Also Craig Gruber and Gary Driscoll from the debut album.
FACTS🤘
So true. Miss Ronnie every day
Dio and mercury, best rock voices of all time. (Imo)
Literally DIO amongst men. Best voice that ever existed, closely followed by Glen Hughes.
100% self taught. Never had a professional singing class. One of the best all time singers. And one of the best people in music. RIP DIO.
Saw Dio with Rainbow in 1977. He completely blew mind. Burned in my memory❤
Me too. I'll never forget it. I also saw him with Elf. Black Sabbath and DIO. He and his band Elf were a warm-up band for Deep Purple Mark 3 David Coverdale and Glenn Hughes. Also, I got to see Deep Purple Purple in 72 Ian Gillan and Roger Glover. Those were magical times. And of course saw Zeppelin 73. I had a great life for an ole bastard. Rock on 🤘 keep Ronnie Cozy Powell and Jon Lord memories alive. RIP to all of them.
Ritchie Blackmore top guitarist in the world in his day
Wow!!!
I was there, 15 years old -77, Totally mindblowing!
А после следующей- Light in black вы точно в космос улетите!!! В ней и заключается весь альбом rising…. Привет из России!!!
One of Ronnie's best vocals and that's saying ALOT
I've been listening to this singer for over 40 years and I still get chills when I hear him.
I think this stuff is Funny as we have listened to this stuff while driving around in our 68 Road Runners & Mustangs.... And we knew these guys could play-sing. But this stuff is Brilliant!! Ronnie would be so Proud!!!
This song represents one of the greatest achievements of humanity on earth
I was there, 15 years old 1977.... Totally mindblowing, life changer
Ronnie would be SO PROUD to know that Singers and Voice Trainers LOVE him. He would be So Happy to know he stands at the top of a very Large Heep... Brilliant!!! Triumph Lay it on the Line..... Daryl Hall, Cheap Trick,,, Dwight Yoakum should be Next?
I hope that this song never ends
You can hear the wizard climbing then falling in the guitar solo. It's very well done.
Ritchie Blackmore is God on guitar. Top 3 in the world. Mount Rushmore guitarist easily.
My Eyes are (still) Bleeding🤘💞🙏🥺
Seeing someone react to this song for the first time is like seeing a kid on Christmas getting a most epic gift
RIP DIo, você foi e sempre será sensacional!!!! Uma cerveja para você agora!
Rainbow are one of the most underrated rock bands and everyone who hears them loves them
Catch the rainbow live in Munich 1977
such a great live song, magical
Absolutely, well any song is great on that live video really.
The story actually continues with the next track called "A Light In The Black" which for some reason has become the forgotten twin sister of "Stargazer". They should really be enjoyed together.
Yes.Side 2 on the album is my favourite.
Yes, totally agree. Then throw in Gates of Babylon.
Totally!!! Light in the Black is RIDICULOUS!!!! Back to back long gems!
@@alekhidellis this true?
@@victormagallanes8238YES. THE SONG IS BASICALLY A PART 2
You just got Dio ! Simple!
The only comparison between DIO and james hatfield of metallica is they are both the same species. On hetfiields best day he couldn't compare to Dio.
Het was most definitely influenced by RJD.
Who wasn't?
But Hetfield's guitar! 🎸
@@vicprovost2561 ...and that jackhammer right hand of his.
😄
Jackhammer right hand? Count me in 🍆!
I was fortunate to see Ronnie about six times, mostly with his own band. The vocals at the end of this song are, in my personal opinion, the greatest by any rock musician on any track ever. The day he died, the very first thing I did was play this song. About 5 times in a row. Next time you play it, the guitar solo in the middle will make more sense. Ritchie Blackmore is playing the next verse…the wizard climbing the tower only to plunge to his death. RIP Ronnie.
Ritchie Blackmore top guitarist in the world in his day. Easily top 3
Rainbow "Mistreated" live version! Recommend you listen to this...
Great call! 1977 Munich, Germany. Just amazing!
Absolutely, mentioned as well.
Yup..Mistreated is the next step
@@rob5723 Rather have "ALITB" than Mistreated....
Ps, Cozy Powell is immense on drums and Ritchie Blackmore on guitar suits Ronnie perfectly.
I saw Cozy live in a few bands he was incredible.
Other way around ;) it was/is Ritchies band. You are correct that voice and guitar matched perfectly.
I remember that Cozy Powell had a single of his own in the charts...his drumming is right up there with the best
Ritchie Blackmore top guitarist in the world in his day.
Ronnie James Dio is without a doubt the greatest vocalist I have seen live.
And I have seen a lot of the big metal bands.
R.i.p. Ronnie , Cozy Powell, Jimmy Bain.
Ronnie James Dio was my absolute FAVORITE singer of all time!!!
This band changed my life when I was 12 and listening to mainstream radio when my cousin gave me the album...eternal gratitude! I'd be listening to commercial sheit like Taylor Swift otherwise...
Its actually sounds Like Emma has a great voice!
Probably the world's greatest rock singer
This song can never be done without the ferocity and passion in Ronnie’s voice. His performance just elevates this masterpiece of composition.
If you ever are interested in hearing him sing something on the softer side, check out "Rainbow Eyes" or "Catch the Rainbow".
I have been in love with this man since I was 15. I am 52 now:)
БРАВОООООООО МАЭСТРО СУМАСЩЕДШИЙ ВОКАЛ
Absolutely check Rainbow live in Munich 1977 - Mistreated, for a live mind-blowing experience!
The next track on the album called "A Light in the Black" is effectively part two of this saga. It's another brilliant piece of rock.
феноменальный альбом , мощь и динамизм ...
YEAH BROTHER!!! HA!!!!
Здравствуйте, я из России...Это музыкальное исполнение шедеврально !
The" RISE Of The ELF!" 🤯✌️😎🎤🎶🎵🎶😁👍😄
Emma looking more gorgeous. ❤❤❤
Long live ronnie james dio, I met him twice an amazing man, rest in peace ronnie, the best front man of hard rock and metal ever, very few would disagree with me, his voice will always remain amazing.
Ronnie & Ritchie on another level.
One of THE voices of the metal genre. Incomparable to others and a truly blessed talent.
Emma
RJD started out singing in the late 1950's in singing groups during time's era of music. Then in late 60's to early 70s, RJD went into more edgy rock that solidified him as a Rock Legend. RJD stated that playing trumpet when he was a teen helped his singing skills.
Amazing !!! Dio the best ever. !!! SDS desde Chile 🇨🇱🎸🤘
Finally❤❤🇧🇷😘
Also recommended: "Catch the Rainbow", "Temple of the King", and "Rainbow Eyes". The Metal will be with you... always 🤘
Loved Ronnie!
more please🙂
Only Dio could pull off the vocals in this song. Only Cozy the drums, and only Blackmore the guitar. A performance for the ages.
a small guy, but one of the greatest rock voices. now he's on the other side of the rainbow RIP Dio
ooohhhh my young days
That moment when you hear the best song of all times...
Ronnie James DIO was great and I met him and same person you saw in a interview
R.I.P Ronnie, Cozy and Jimmy
Ronnie James Dio is the true father of metal, he died as a hero of the genre and became a god.
Rip Ronnie Dio he was a masterful singer one of the greatest rock singers ever
I sing to Ronnie dios music on my PA all the time
So, you finally found the G.O.A.T. 😍
I was lucky to see him 3 times solo and 1 with Black Sabbath. Incredible voice and showman. RIP to Ronnie
New viewer, 27 seconds in and given a like, because Dio
you need to hear Deep Purple , Child in Time
Please react to Judas Priest Sinner (Live at New Haven Veterans Memorial Coliseum). There you have another metal god - Rob Halford
I was at that show, classic Priest rules! 🎸🎸
I like you understand the difference between colour and texture, Two very important things in music
A great song about false teachers, prophets and preachers.
powerfull and chilling.
Can u say reminds u of Hetfields voice when Metallica were kids when this was performed? You could say Metallica inspired by Rainbow, because most good heavy metal was. Check out his work with Sabbath, and then his solo work. Saw him 3 times and at the very end his voice was still excellent.
You should listen to A Light In The Black - the sequel to Stargazer
Richie Blackmore is amazing as well...
Legendary musicians in Ronnie James Dio, Ritchie Blackmore and Cozy Powel. Would you believe it if I told you that Dio didnt had official training as a singer...only some years of practice as a trompet player? So immensely gifted
One of best band ever and Ronie Dio one of greatest singer ever
Thank you for reaction to this masterpiece!! 😍So good it brings tears to my eyes, every time. RIP Ronnie.
I was about to say you should have went for the original studio version but when I listened a bit I realised that you are listening to the studio version over some live footage.
RITCHIE BLACKMORE RULES!!
richie blackmore on the guitar brings the heat. previously of deep purple. wrote highway star. legendary.
Miss Dio so. I want this song played at my funeral
Dio is an amazing singer
Was a great singer I'm sorry to report. Died of throat cancer in the early 2000's.
I was so fortunate to have gotten to know Ronnie. Amazing! \m/ RIP
……seeing you gush over my favorite singer of all time….. makes be so happy ❤️ you are such a beautiful soul, thank you for making my day ❤️🙏🏻🔥
Dear Emma - A powerful song about the absolute narcissist. An iconic metal/progressive piece of music and deep vocals.
Yay you did it! Every reacter should do this song. Spread the gospel!
The world champion of interruption strikes again...! 😫
항상. 최고 입니다
잊혀질수 없는 가창력이죠
🎉 Absolutely my favorite song ever
Rip maestro 💜🔥🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
RJD vocals was made for heavy metal.
My Mt. Rushmore for Rock vocalists are Ronnie and Ann Wilson. There is a log jam for the number 3 and 4 spots. But those two stand alone.
The deep sensual vivid beauty reaction by you are owerwhelming
Mistreated live 1977 live Munich best Dio EVER look it up
Beyond the ridiculous talent on display on this song is an amazing story about leaders who envision reach for the stars but fall short and revealed for whom they are....and everyone is like, but where do we go
Absolutely amazing voice! And guitar! And drums! The song stands out in the history of rock! Simply the best composition, ever! 🤩
¡¡The best and the beast!! 🤘🤘
He Ronnie James Dio was classically trained trumpet player where got breathing techniques from one of greatest ever always miss him RIP RJD
He is a G.O.A.T
And that was in 77
Hail king Dio!
🤘🤘
You look sooooo gooood. Like a topmodel.
Oh thank you!
Ahh My dear you need Bruce Dicksons Iron Madden! Also a World Class Fenner !
Try Deep Purple - Child In Time - Live (1970). You'll hear one interesting singer. You can thank me afterward. 🙃
