If they are truly not interested they are not going to come back around, but if they do come back around then it means that they do have some interest. You just really have to do things differently the second time around. Don’t make yourself so available, don’t fall so quickly for this person again, hold them accountable to their actions and definitely don’t be that girl that begs them to change. If he wants to change for you he will, if he is ready for you then he will do whatever it takes to be with you.
I do think you're right! We all have wounds and some people open some up, more often than not by accident. I think maybe with ghosters, just be distant acquaintances. They said they want to be friends, ok just be friends, NOTHING MORE. I think maybe with ghosters, just be distant acquaintances. They said they want to be friends, ok just be friends, NOTHING MORE.
Because, granted, Maybe you might like something about them as a person, and maybe you can be an acquaintance with them, but don’t build that interest in one or two small things about a person as if you like them for an entire relationship.
They’re now a ghoster, that’s an identity. They’ve shown they’re capable of really bad treatment. Ghosters are abusers. Sure you can be distant friends with an abusive person as long as you set boundaries that they don’t abuse you, but don’t ever look to a ghoster for a relationship. Even if they promise the world, they are a narcissist. Know how much of an acquaintance you can even be with a narcissist.

Same applies if you're the one walking away and ghost him for being non committal. Make him work if he wants to come back.
