Maha Bayoud I actually found a good way to respond after getting ghosted. After the time is up, just say, “ohhh, I just got ghosted. Oh well.” They will take this time to respond back to you, typically in a rude manor. They usually tell you off and lie, they’ll say they were busy and weren’t ghosting you or what ever. And then this is when you get back at them, by turning it around and ghosting them instead. It’s a complete 180 and I’ve had 3 women fall for this same trap in 1 month. I ghost them instead.

Forgiveness is the only way to set your heart and soul free. Even if they don't ask for.

The real questiin would be: Could you handle the fact that someone doesn't want to see you ever again? Not even in the future? I say you couldn't.
IMO no words for their reasons of ghosting are needed, the hypothetical explanations are not rocket science.
And the outcome would've been the same, a separation.

Let them ghost you ladies! I was very hurt getting ghosted by my date just 2 months ago. I did my best to move on ......3 weeks later, I met this man that I am willing to spend rest of my life with. Levar, I know exactly how you feel. Continue praying though. Maybe you should consider fasting too. But it's ok to feel hurt. Just don't let it consume you. Forgive that person, like truly in your heart. Acknowledge the good qualities in them and the positive emotions they brought out of you. But then realize that someone who cared for you wouldn't do you that way, and get excited about God bringing the right person along who won't ever hurt you like that. Rejection is God's protection! That's the way to go. I actually let a friend who ghosted me contact me again, and I thought we could go back to the way things were. Nope. She just pushed me away again. Take it from me - once they dump you, change the lock on your front door.

I was ghosted 8 months ago, and it still really hurts me. I've tried to move on but it's hard when you can't get closure. It's one of the worst pains especially when you really trusted the person who ghosts you and now they have become a stranger.

I love how people just throw you the words, "move on" like it's THAT dang easy. Like....... do yall realize the emotional magnitude involved? I think the hardest part of being ghosted is the lack of closure. With a break up you have closure. But with this ghosting thing it's extremely cruel and cowardly. I'm grateful for it actually because it's really God's protection. It just makes it hard to trust anyone again 😭😭😭🥺🥺🥺🥺

I met this girl a few weeks ago I got along with amazingly. After many phone calls and texts I asked if she would like to go on a date. She said yes. After I paid for dinner reservations, theater reservations, and planned everything out, she ghosted me and I winded up waiting in the parking lot of the restaurant for 4 1/2 hours saying to myself “She’s gonna show up, she’s gonna show up.” She didn’t...

Same here. A friend of 5 years. We Reconnected after a 3 year hiatus due to his immaturity. It was a beautiful and redemptive moment of true reconciliation. When we were supposed to meet again he, ghosted me.

Just wanted to say, a male friend who was not a Christian ghosted me. He really turned my world upside down.He ghosted me. I was really hurt because i was there for him but abandoned me. Years later i understood why God allowed him to do that. He was inteferring with my growth and destiny. He was also very toxic and plays with my emotions. My loving Father did not want me to suffer anymore in this fruitless situation. I only understood years later. Im thankful this person left. For a real wake up call, many times people get ghosted because the other person panics because they can't commit, succumb to peer pressure, or are just mean. In 99.44% of the time, it's not the person getting ghosted that is the problem. Remember, you just dodged one big bullet later in life with them. If ghosted, move on, and forget about them. I've been ghosted once in my life, and it took me 3 of my messages to them before I realized I was ghosted. Once I "got it" I moved on.

What I learned from this experience is, it was not the end of my story, but the end of his part in my story. There are certain people in your life for a season, a reason and a lifetime. His season was up. I've forgiven him, and I am at peace. It's a hard lesson learned, but most of all, the Lord has a specific man designed especially for me. I am waiting on his timing, and not my own.
It’s happened to me... God had to teach me to forgive despite the hurt of the silence & no explication... over time & distance God gave me a different respect for him... though we have never spoken since; 2 yrs later I did receive an unexpected email of sincere apology for the way he treated me. We both have happily moved on with hard lessons learned.

I was ghosted not even 24hrs ago.... and it’s never a fun thing to go through.
This happened to me a few years back and I can see already that this time around , I have grown and matured. I’m much more willing to accept what happened and forgive. I’m also not putting an ounce of blame on myself like I did years ago. I realize that I’m not responsible for someone else’s character flaw. The pain we all feel is normal. We were let down by someone that we cared for but being that I’ve gone through this before , I will say the hurt doesn’t last forever.
My greatest advice to anyone dealing with this is to allow yourself time to feel every bit of what you’re going through and don’t rush the process. If you need to cry , let it out. If you just need time to yourself then take it. Heal and spend lots of time praying. I promise the pain won’t last forever and better days are ahead.💕 Spend this tome focusing on you and building yourself up to be all that you can be. I promise , you won’t regret it.

@TheGuileRaven is kind of….. ACCURATE! Over a year later and my initial comment was 100% correct. I knew the signs back then when I saw them but honestly it is what it is. I’m in a new relationship now with a man that loves and cherishes me. Hopefully my comment can bring hope to many people that things get better!

@TheGuileRaven when someone deletes you from Snapchat, blocks your number and social media then…. I think it’s pretty safe to assume you’ve been ghosted right.? I've been ghosted. It was a painful 4 months of silence. No he isn't back but I don't want him to come back. Once you learn to accept that he doesn't like you, it's easy to move on plus I found my worth in the pain and I realised he isn't that special as I thought he was. Such a good feeling

I cannot really understand random ghosting, I would much rather be told something honest and truthful than not getting a response at all, it just puts more stress on you.
There should be a comprehensive video on exactly what ghosting does to the ghosted. Especially when you’ve been seeing the person for 5-6+ months. It destroyed me and it still hurts like hell years later, and I’ve never had a successful relationship since.

As a life long introvert with a very small group of friends, it was especially crushing to be ghosted by my best friend of 20 some years. I was going through a tough time in life, the kind when you find out who really matters and who doesnt. Turns out he didnt. Our friendship was a fair day one and purely transactional. I can see how such experiences can lead people to take drastic measures and thankfully I'm not weak minded. This happened to me. Two months talking, praying, doing a bible study, video chatting pretty much daily. To I woke up one evening and blocked me on every social media platform with zero explanation. I agree that it is sin to respond to disinterest or a change of heart in this way. I feel like an explanation could be doing a courtesy-- perhaps the person could learn from it and move forward in better light. And hope God leads so he doesn't do this to another woman. No one should play with someone's heart in general but especially under Jesus' name. Keep praying to forgive. I'm praying for y'all on here who experienced this.

My name is Sammy, I asked a girl out in November 2018. She Happily said yes! It took a lot of courage for me to ask her. I've been seeing her for about a year before I asked her. Then on we would text each other. As a little time went on, I stopped hearing from her. I personally went to her again to ask if she wanted to go out, and she said yes again. It's January 29, 2019 now, and I haven't heard from her in 2 weeks. I even texted and told her if she did not want to go out it was totally ok. She did told me that she couldn't see my messages sometimes because of her phone service. I really don't know what's happening, but I just wish the best for her! I've accepted the facts and have moved on. What I'm struggling with is wanting to message him to call him out and tell him he has no integrity.

Great perspective and tips! Whomever the Lord may have for someone, and vice-versa, will require 0% begging. As someone once told me, healthy, feasible, (and MATURE) romantic relationships are based on the "3 C's": Character (e.g. "speaking the truth in love"), (mutual) Compatibility, and Chemistry. While I do NOT contend that the "3 C's" represent a Biblical "formula," I do believe there is some practical perspective in this framework. In sum, when one of the 3 C's is missing, no amount of overanalyzing or chasing will make a "ghost-er" re-materialize in one's life. And that's a good thing.

I like your comment Melissa, but my "ghoster" came back 3-4 times. I believe the soul tie is broken now, so he's gone for good. We had chemistry, but he was horrible at communication and character. Each time he came back, he would seem interested and then be gone again, thin air! The last time broke my heart because he stood me up. I was depressed for 1 year and 6 months and started getting up in October. And then he tried to come back again after I started getting up. Nothing but the enemy! God told me to let go, release it and I have and I'm free!!! God is good!

Wow. Thanks so much for sharing your story. It sounds confusing and painful - to have to heal, over, and over again - with this repeat ghoster / experience. While I'm so sorry to hear you experienced all of this turmoil and grief (seriously, it sounds very hard!), it's great that you can identify the enemy's attempts to take you down and out - and the glory of God to set you free from this unhealthy relational cycle. As I trust you know, you are worth being pursued by the right man at the right time.
On another note, a verse that comes to mind is Psalm 84:11: “For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly.” Anyway, the Lord IS the ultimate “good thing” and He is giving you His best gifts/blessings (James 1), whatever they look like as you keep in step with the Spirit (Galatians 5). Plus, now you’re open for whatever and whomever the Lord DOES have for you. Way to step away from the enemy’s tricks and walk in the freedom of the truth!

And if that person who suddenly ghosted you and you didn't even know why until they mentioned it later on, and then they start contacting you a few months after that, then you should AVOID that person. Resist the urge to get back to the way things were; they will never be the same and that person might be tricking you.
Thanks for sharing this message. Self love is key when your ghosted in any relationship. When you learn your worth and value you can move on with ease. It's their loss not yours, especially, when you've been nothing but loving towards them.
I'd like to add a couple things to this, talk to a trusted friend or group of friends about it. This may help air any grievances and they may empathize with you through previous experiences. Also, just pray about it, God will either give you clarity about what happened or will show you new blessings to help you forget about it.
I was in a relationship for 6 months, he reached to me and made me fall for him. One day we had a fight(normal,not that big) and then boom, he disappeared . I called him so many times, texted him, he didnt even speak a word, it hurts sooooo bad.

Came here due to the title, I'm seperated, single and celibate by choice dedicated to God. To clarify 'Ghosting' is different from 'no contact'. Ghosting is a cruel tactic that indicates someone is using you e.g. now you see me, now you don't, now you see me etc. They are around you either to see if you are real as something may have offended them OR to use you until they find another supply. Although some people leave long periods of ignoring you as a way to hurt you, so you are elated when they suck you back in. No contact is different, it's completely exiting a relationship, this is usually the last resort for people who realise they are being manipulated or abused. Cut your losses and run, otherwise you can drain years of your life in tears and pain hoping that the leopard can change its spots. See narcissistic abuse. Jesus loves you.

So many times I click on your videos and God just reminds me of all these promises He has for me that's so easy to lose focus of in my hurt and often times confusion, and it's such a comfort. I heard real life sad stories where people suicided because had been ghosted, it is so so terribly sad. The ghoster is wrong, yes they are doing a lot of unforseen damage. They cannot be held accountable either, they are sinning so bad & murdering someone's chances at a life & happiness simply by crushing all of their self esteem. 😏

@@ParuAp not necessarily..dont mean already suicidal .!!.one person can make you feel this hurt heck ya ..my stress is so bad loosing this man , My hair started falling out .i once had really thick hair beautiful and now ..its half thickness..and breaking off easily ,can't control it . high stress can cause a condition like this ..plus I emotionally as a diabetic am suppose to be careful not eating lots of sugar .I was wrong to use food to distract myself from incredible pain . But I did..fir awhile and I now have severe heart disease.due to a test I took and found out results ..so dont ever let any one tell you you, cant literally die of a broken heart. I believe .yes 💔 one certainly can my heart feels dead inside. ..i can't get what plaque already in my arteries out now .no way to do im told by Dr ..I can only stop from getting more by ..changing my whole way of life eating .I eat keto some more now..which is good and fine ..I did before and lost and kept off 50 pounds. But went off when super stressed out .that's when started laying plaque down fast im sure..have no choice but be on aspirin and cholesterol meds rest of life now . if want to stop progress of further heart damages..people can be so callus..become a complete stranger over night . Im 😥😔as can be..still love this severely damaged man ..but im praying fir the lord to help me get over him and move on ..I depend only in christ for my life .and to direct my steps .but still I wonder. Why this man was allowed to step into my life ....??God says man plans his course ,but God directs his steps ..and yet this man did so much damage to me .?.I also thought he would end up being future husband I called my sunshine man .. But now he is the rainstorm in my heart .

GOD doesn't Will for us to put no one on a pedestal to idolize them. Proof you even called that man your "sunshine," as a term of endearment, but that also, could've been that you idolized him. Men are to find himself a wife, pursue her, and help her feel secure that she is to be his betrothed, ultimately resulting in marriage, a GOD-Centered marriage.
You mentioned some health issues that you have (and hopefully you're healed of it all),-- and you sound like you even blame him for your hair issue: But please know that Jesus Christ Is The Healer and Mighty Deliverer, and The Comforter Who Is The Holy Spirit Will Comfort you. Listen, Kimberly, put all your trust in The Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and cast all your cares upon Jesus Christ, for He Cares for you, and He Knows that you love deeply, and GOD Will allow the perfect mate/husband for you, at the right time. So, meanwhile, eat healthy as much possible, and seek Jesus Christ to find out who you are In CHRIST JESUS, your identity In Christ, not in someone else. Understand how valuable you are, with humility. Never again idolize anyone, nor allow anyone make you feel so bad, that you literally feel sick, and experience those symptoms (we all live and we learn). And remember, when GOD Blesses you with the mate/husband who deserves you, who will love you, but he will also put GOD, First! ...and that's a good thing! --- Remember, you, also, are to put GOD/JESUS CHRIST, First, and love GOD, More. And things will be in order. But right now, you are to focus on Jesus Christ, and know who He Created you to be, read His Word In The Holy Scriptures. You're more than a conqueror! I've saw a lot of videos, and this is one is the best one, really, these are a simple way to letting go of a person who's doesn't care about us in the same way, making us not to hate a person who's done this awful behavior, but to accept that things changes, and there's no one to blame, I always blame myself for the people that gets away from my life, and this is different kind of suicide, that kills me everyday.
I recently have the knowledge that God have a unique plan for my life, so I'll keep my faith, there's someone out there for everyone.
Its just sooo hard to move on after being ghosted... an emotional breaker
