probs not gonna get a reply cause of the age of this vid haha, my looks brandnew, old family "heirloom" that got passed to me cause u was interested in it. The only issue i'm having is the battery is swollen and i can't get the battery out even after unlocking it :/ any ideas?
I changed my battery back. But it still won’t turn on I just want the memories I have on iMovie & photos. Is there any way to do this ? Wit the hard drive inside?

Can anyone confirm that they did make a 2006 MacBook ,aka 1181 that has a core 2 duo . all research I did just shows a 1181 with only a core duo and not a core 2 duo. Was there both being produced in 2006 model of 1181
I just dug my 2006 white macbook out to retrieve old info on there. The battery was swollen and had popped put the back by itself. I unlock the battery and removed it. Will it still go on? Without the battery in? The keyboard and trackpad is still 100%but I need to get info off of

Whenever you change the thermal paste, do you need to do the software configuration or not?
No, it’s fine as long as you don’t change the hard drive

I got a MacBook as a graduation present when I graduated high school back in 06.
It could run on macOS El-Capitan Patcher for this kind of models..

My battery doesn't work, so I would assume it works without the battery in. Why not just try it?
