- It’s getting cold and wet outside now so the time has come for coats & jackets. I must admit, I have a bit of an addiction when it comes to coats. I never feel I have enough. Coats & jackets are a really easy way to elevate your look, so I make the most of wearing them whenever I can. In this video, I am going to go over the best styles of coats & jackets to protect you from the elements. I think these three styles will have you covered for all situations, as they are the only coats & jackets I use. I do live in the UK though, so these coats are going to be most suitable for the weather we get here.

What’s your favourite coat or jacket to wear for autumn/winter?
A _softshell jacket_ is a versatile option that I opt for in the winter 👌🏻
It doesn’t get too cold where I live so denim jackets work best for me.

Great video man! Living in a tropical country like the Philippines wearing overcoats are totally uncommon and only essential in Habagat/Southwest monsoon and Amihan/Northeast monsoon seasons where its rainy and chilly, that being said im also addicted to overcoats i currently own 4 coats and my favorite is the Forever 21 Double-breasted Plaid coat matched with a white jeans, black oversized tee and black sneakers and a grey flat cap!

I must recommend the Uniqlo Blocktech Parka, it's like a budget North Face light jacket.
Where I am right now (PH) whether never gets cold I hate it but that's the reality sadly can do nothing about it having said that I won't be needing any coats right now what's fascinating, I used my spare time watching this video, love the way he talks crystal clear voice as always clearer than my future and quiet informative too.

I live in PH too in Davao City specifically and im totally obsessed with coats i currently own 4 overcoats with different varieties of fabrics such as Cotton, Wool and Polyester, i do wear them in rainy days and cold seasons specially our current Amihan season. They're the most appropriate to wear in October to January where the weather is most of the part rainy and chilly. If you live in Baguio City tho you wont have any problems wearing it at all since it is one of the essentials for Baguio's weather.
I picked up a couple rain jackets from Rohan and they are amazing. It's a British company, decades old at this point I think. High quality. I guess a bit pricey but the ones I got were on sale. For puffer jackets I got one at Jott earlier this year. French company. They were quite a bit more expensive than Uniqlo but clearly better quality.

Good summery, and I am with you, love overcoats. Searching for a fishbone grey one and was surprised as well that there’s nothing new from Uniqlo yet. Might look also for a puffer jacket, but it depends on the puffy scale results whether I am doing to find one 😁😁

Harry, I think you’d really like Uniqlo’s Balmacaan coat. I picked one up last year.
As it’s their standard collection the exterior isn’t mostly wool.
But the fit is spot on if you’re going for that long flowing look. Also, I tried going true to size and it turned out massive, i sized down to a small and I’ve still got plenty of room to layer.
I do like that coat and was thinking of picking it up last year. Nice coat

I bought a North Face future light 94retro Himalayan down jacket on sale during the summer for £270 from £690 it's 700fill RDS goose down.iv not worn it yet but will do when it gets much colder.a good website to get good deals from is sports pursuits you can get arcteyx and marmot for half price there.

No need for a coat in Southern California. Though I wouldn't mind a corduroy over shirt for the colder nights.

JW Anderson Uniqlo... is it even coming this year? I feel like they are quickly running out of time before the holiday shopping season arrives. Word at my closest store (in Canada) is that the upcoming Uniqlo White Mountaineering collection drop has to be split between Nov 4 and then again in "late December" without a firm date. That tells me there are serious logistics/supply issues.
They said it was coming soon on their Instagram so fingers crossed

Does anyone think that overcoats are too warm for where I live? Here in SoCal, autumn/winter is usually around 50-60 fahrenheit. I still want to wear overcoats though; maybe layer it over a T shirt or a dress shirt.
If you are too hot, don’t wear one. Try a trench coat or a lightweight overcoat. There are plenty of lightweight options. That temperature is low enough for me to wear an overcoat for sure though and a hoodie or sweater underneath too. Over a tee looks great.

I know the feeling. I still get nervous which is why I sound like a robot in most of my videos. It gets slightly easier for me each time but it’s taken 2 years so far and I still get nervous. You just gotta power through if it’s what you want to do. Im getting better and better but I still record most vids twice over. Just don’t think about it too much and remember life is short. If you think you will regret not going for it, just go for it. Im just pleased I went for it and you regret not starting earlier
And I’m the opposite. I get nervous and shout and lose my voice. I wish I could talk quieter in my videos

I haven’t tried their hoodies but I used to wear some of their jeans and tees about 7 or 8 years ago. Seemed decent to me but was a long time ago
I'd rather wear a tank top and coat than tshirts and button ups as layers, and I live in SoCal. Coats immediately make an outfit, no fussing.

Some constructive criticism: have a think about how you sound when you’re reading your script, it comes off a little plain and like you’re reading a book in school. A good trick is to try and emulate a TEDx Talk or a person speaking on a podcast. This trick has helped my public speaking immensely in life, hope it helps bring more success to your channel!
