They played this commercial on Saturdays during all the classic cartoon shows and weekdays in the afternoons for three years later. Relatives and Friends of mine remember this! In 1974 they had microphones at the counter to sing your order to the kitchen. Now it's computerized cash registers with computer monitors in back. No more Grammy Award winning singing at your local BK anymore. I guess back then you had to go through an audition, like on American Idol, before they would hire you to work the counter. If you didn't make the cut, Simon would send you packing, advising you to apply at the Taco Bell down the street. No singing required over there.
