ive always thought chefs had super sensitive taste buds and thats how they can cook so well but ebbers kind off disproved that when apparently his tongue is dead

I just read a couple of days ago that a young man in the States died by eating a snack food so hot it stopped his heart and he died. Maybe this isn't as safe as we think it is. I didn't check to make sure it wasn't fake news but it looked believable to me.
Exactly what I was thinking. I guess if I'd known one can die I wouldn't have eaten 6 bowls of spicy fish head in China. I was in so much pain they did ultrasound to make sure my guts hadn't busted!
@@deborahgarry9363Yea that was the hot chip challenge.. Tbf that chip (Dorito chip) is insanely hot.. Like beyond insanity.. Over 2 million Scovilles.. And there is warnings on the package. Also after the accident they are no not selling the hot chip challenge anymore. There are fake brands out there but apparently not as hot as the original..
But its sad that a kid had to die before they realised that this might be a little too much.. There is no effing chance in hell im eating that chip..
@@deborahgarry9363 the most likely thing that would make that true is an overload in anxiety from not knowing what to do with the pain.
Some people eat insanely spicy foods and feel almost nothing. Some are in so much pain, they freak out and even some hallucinate.

Not accurate. He had a preexisting heart condition and didn't die until many many hours later.
The whiskey sour round is the best. Ben is so casual through the whole thing you would never think it was him, while everyone else struggles. Then you find out it was Ben and everyone has an absolute meltdown trying his.
Still one of the best Sorted moments of recent time.
Then he tried Jamie's and liked it..

Watching this marathon is so fun!! Could you do a "Behind Sorted"? Maybe "chaos?" Where we can watch Kush preparing the bites? Apologies if you have already done this and I missed it.

The one at 45.55 is still my favourite ever, how Ben did not know it was him is still hilarious, even today. All of them were good, but That one with Ben is the funniest ever.

What a hoot…also I have been enjoying Sorted on my computer, and I just got a new HUGE 65-inch screen. With the plethora of close-ups, what a pleasant surprise to see how handsome these guys are especially all the smiles while enjoying themselves with their friends.

seeing all these marathon made me realise the older videos are more towards the warm scale while the older.. older videos 7+years old vids are more faded and colder tone.. but 2023-2024 its getting vivid and lovely. the colour correction hits the spot on that one.

Had a crap week, but watching them drink that whiskey extra sour, made things brighter.
I have an uncle who loves spicy food/drink. This brings back memories of him offering me olives as a kid. Olives soaked in pepper juice. And that is why to this day I never take food from him without someone I trust trying it first.
We dehydrate the preserved plums and eat it as a snack. My mom can eat them like a bag of candy and they are just as if not more sour and salty than the fresh ones. So good.
