Okay, Ben you’re definitely going to have to eat a Big Mac to compensate for the normals having to go through this hell! Fantastic job as always, what a pleasure to watch! 🤣🤣
He should eat a big mac that has been overcooked, over salted, mega garlic mayo...basically combine all of what the boys went through with this episode, in one big mac
You know what might be interesting? Give the boys each a half prepared dish that has something extremely wrong (like too salty, too sweet, too spicy, too much acid) and they have to demonstrate how to fix the dish. Maybe it could be something like a Balancing Flavors badge or the like.
Feel that round was bit unfair, Jamie ate much more then Mike. Mike took a smaller bite and prolonged it for the while time, Jamie took a bigger bite, ate it and tapped out cause he didnt want to take a second bite
@@DiZh0 also, the format is whoever won the last challenge would not compete in the next! Jamie won the previous Poker face! @sortedfood i demand justice
Normaly I'm a fan of these poker face challenges, extreamly sour, sweet, etc. But eating ruined food is over the line. Ben you deserve a Big Mac for this
I absolutely love the fact that THIS is the Poker Face video that broke the team. Not the chemical sweetness, not the chili burn, not the fish that smells like a port-a-loo, but this. Amazing. :D
Mike screaming "it's coming out like Plaaaydoh" just sent me 🤣🤣🤣💀 Oh lord, Mike reacting to Baz eating the second one just killed me again 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I can't breathe properly still 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 hang on, I'm going back to watch that again..........pray for me 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣💀
I really liked this Poker Face - pain, disgust from the normals (always fun!) but actually helpful tips from Ben and the chefs. I bet there have to be more ways to ruin a dish - I’d love to see more!
It made me cry with laughter, watching Barry eat the garlic cheese thingies!!! I always feel so sorry for our three lovely normals when they have to do these challenges - not sorry enough to stop me watching or hysterically laughing, of course!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
There is an impossible battle of just watching ONE sorted video, you simply cannot! (send help what day is it?) as a side note, I had an absolutely horrendous day, and now I'm in tears from laughter, so thank you!
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 THANK YOU 🙏 I have been so excited to watch this all day!! Finally cozy in my bed when I usually binge yalls videos and now I get a new one of my favorite challenges y’all have done!
These have become probably my favorite series you all have created, love this idea to show different ingredients and how it works on the body. Keep it up gents!
I have depression and anxiety, and I swear to god!- if I ever need to relax and cheer up- coming back to watch these guys suffer, somehow just WORKS for me!!……..not sure why that says about me, but oh well!- needs must!🤷♀️😂🤣🥰👍🏻 Just know- you don’t suffer in vain guys!!
I make toum pretty regularly - no egg. Just garlic, salt, a little lemon juice, and oil. It is the purest garlic taaste imaginable, and utterly delicious as a dip - but I have given myself mild chemical burns eating it....
The best post-challenge therapy for something like this is a bit of bland mash, washed down with a Coke. The mash gives you the starch which helps balance and absorb all the food crimes that came before, and the Coke provides acid to help your system break the abused food down and make some use of it all.
Marlene Dietrich wrote in her book "My ABC" that her trick for saving over-salted soup or stew is to finely grate one or two large raw potatoes into it while it's still cooking.
I'd give the overall win to Jamie. He and Mike both had 2 points, but Jamie only tapped out once, Mike tapped out twice. Therefore Jamie overall performed better.
I really thought the second one in each round was going to be the “nice” version of the messed up food item. Would have made for a nice consolation prize for them.
One of my favourite series. Loving the new app! I've said it before and I stick by it, a cooking battle or pass it on where you HAVE to use (very) exotic ingredients in some part of the dish would be HILARIOUS!!
Common mistakes? I'm not sure this is overly common, but the first thing that comes to mind was when we were making mushroom stew in HomeEc. I read the recipe, my mate handled the utilities. I read out 1cl salt, he poured in 1dl of salt. I read out 5cl of flour, he poured in 5dl of flour. The rest of the measurements he kept just fine, but those two he put 10x as much in. The result was a grey paste that acted a bit like Lembas Bread, a single bite and you did not want to eat again for a whole day.
For the next one, you should film them all separately, warn them that they about to have the hardest poker face challenge, and then trick them by giving them some of the most delicious food they've eaten....and maybe one disgusting one somewhere randomly in the mix
Do a show where you compare a (commonly) badly-prepared classic vs a correctly-prepared classic and get the normals to a) work out the 'bad' one and b) work out what's wrong. Would be fun and educational too.
Ben stating that only three people on the planet hate this series is a lie right?!? I mean… he can’t have enjoyed being in the hot seat for the one with the fermented foods or the hot sauces…
Man I felt every pain Mike had with the garlic challenge… my mom makes this great stew with potatoes and garlic and I love it, and the garlic is completely cooked (looks like it is roasted), but every time I have it I feel this pain in my chest and stomach… WHAT A GREAT VIDEO GUYS!!! 👍🏼😂
I actually feel slightly bad for enjoying these quite so much. You all seem like nice people, I certainly don't wish any of you ill, but, it is just SO entertaining watching you lads suffer!
I usually love the poker face challenges but eating ruined/bad food (with that amount of garlic and salt I would even argue for a health risk) just for the views is a bit over the top. That being said Jamie has my vote here. He kept a poker face in all rounds except the salt round. The tear in the first round cant be count as a broken poker face; see Bens excuse of a "red face" in the spicy food-> involunter physical reaction of the body wont count and Jamie still has a straight face with it. So lets return to badge challenges and not damage your health for such videos boys! We hope to have more laughter along the way on our food journey ;)
Don't say that's the new intro. :O It's alright, but the sizzeling intro was so good, I loved it so much. I got every time chills down my spine i heard it, idk why but i did. :) But overall i kinda like the new styles.
Poor Mike, that man looks like he's got some painful heartburn, tortorous. Everyone's face of disgust at the end when he asked for the Like said it all.
I genuinely felt sorry for them in this one, and proud of Jamie . I could have vomited in sympathy just watching it. I wonder how long it will take someone to make a gif of that dribble though.
I come back to this video over and over again, the 30 sec of Barry and the garlic puff. It's not so much the Barry can't manage the garlic, it's Mike losing his mind trying to get him to manage his face. I laugh so hard I can't breath. It brightens my day
These are always my favorite videos!! I would love to see a video where all three had the item at once but only 2 of the 3 are bad(bitter, sour, hot, spicy) and the other one is perfectly normal and has to fake a bad expression . Ebbers then has to figure out who didn’t have the bad plate. It would be like reverse poker face!
This brings back memories of back in the 10th grade food and nutrition course I took in the mid 90's, we made butter tarts and one of the other students either did this by accident or on purpose as a joke since we were sharing the same pan, swapped the measurements for the salt and sugar in their batch. you could tell there wasn't something quite right with the filling, but could probably assume that the sugar wasn't fully dissolved or something, but no, it was pretty much full on salt.
Jamie round one cried because such good food was turned so bad, it wasn't that he couldn't take it, but was so overcome by the sadness of a lose of a good meal.
Fun to watch until the salt. That part is very very concerning for me as you can cause severe intestinal damage with salt in such a way. I'm sure you all kept it in mind but still...
When I first started cooking I didn't know the difference between a head of garlic and a clove. So that was fun... it's quite the experience. It doesn't even taste like garlic anymore.
I really feel like they should do this with two (small) portions each, one bad one not, and have to eat both without revealing the bad one - that's true poker face
With Ben saying the food team tried all of these, I think they should include a b-roll of the food teams reactions. Please do this next go round of poker face
I love that you've taken this format and are talking about how we can fix these things. I feel like a little add-on, to ensure the participants have some stamina for this series long-term, is to give them the good versions of these dishes at the end. They look great, and am sure taste great when prepared correctly.
Poker Face - Three people at a table, eating three different meals at the same time, but no one knows what each dish has had done to it, and Ebbers has to try guess who's had what (Spicy, Sour, Bitter etc)
I would like to see this again, but they have no idea what is wrong with it. The twist - they get to choose 1 item out of three things each round that could either help them fix the situation or make it worse.
Ohhhhhh it's Sorted Sidekick....during your live stream I 💯% thought you said Sorted Psychic...and I did think that's quite out there, but it's you guys and so i'm totally into it 😂😂😂 (however, Sidekick definitely makes more sense) Having said that, maybe Sorted Psychic is when the app can predict (and make recommendations of) what we want to cook even before we know ourselves...because sometimes the hardest bit is just trying to figure out what you want to eat in the first place🤷🏾♂️ 🙄😉 loving the updated look 🎉😃👍🏿

not to mention as winner of the last one jammy should be the host
did he ever get the punishment from not eating that bigmac last year?
He should eat a big mac that has been overcooked, over salted, mega garlic mayo...basically combine all of what the boys went through with this episode, in one big mac
@@davidmathieson8661 yes to all of this!!

The foods they ate for this challenge may not have tasted good, but everything was beautifully presented!
That is the cruel joke of this show, all the food looks amazing and is terrible
How can you say that when Mike utters the phrase "no it's coming out like play dough!"
Barry's attempt at the garlic bombs is possibly one of the funniest things I've ever seen 😂😂
Was so heartbreaking watching Jamie's first ever tap out! You could so see that determination in his face to carry on! Well done Jamie

Salty one seemed pretty hazardous to health, honestly
Mike's garlic reaction seems like he has a sensitivity to alliums and I hated to watch that.
Especially when it's this far past ruined!
@@JimStreetArt yeah. The other poker challenges were still funny but this one is a certain level of disgusting forr them
I agree, not that interesting. at least the other challenges introduced some interesting ingredients...this is just common sense!

April 1st, Bring back James and trick him saying they're Pretentious ingredients but really be a poker face challenge.
A battle between Ebbers and James would be fun to watch.

Interesting that the "cooking mistakes" got more tapouts then the other challenges

I really thought the second one in each round was going to be the “nice” version of the messed up food item. Would have made for a nice consolation prize for them.
i am just in love with the way baz expresses on his face
“Taint” is an accurate description of the first dish full of burnt spices.
When Barry said "it burns" during the garlic round, I legitimately fell off the couch and rolled around on the floor laughing.
Was hoping for something overly citrusy to go alongside the classic of "it just can't be too lemony!" 😂

@@SortedFood I can imagine that. Also, I think all 4 of them should take turns being on the hot seat (sorry Ben!).

This might have been the funniest poker face I've seen. I was crying.
that belch at the end: wonderful
