This is a great gentle stretch with some interesting positions. Does anyone else crunch their ankles when folding over their thigh or are mine especially boney?! It's worse on one side than the other, maybe I need to adjust how I sit.

Wow, I had no idea how tight my upper body was and how bound my ribs were until I did this video. It felt soooooo good. As I get older, I’ve really come to appreciate the benefits and how amazing I feel after a session of slow stretches and long holding postures. Really thankful a friend showed me the Sarah Beth videos.
I have scoliosis that causes me extreme unbalance and pain. I woke up in incredible pain all through my back and neck. I often don’t have much energy to stand so I just searched sitting down stretches because I knew I needed to stretch out my muscles. This simple 15 minute yoga session relieved so much of what I just woke up with I can’t believe it!!! I used to stretch a lot, I’m definitely going to try doing this every day again
I’ve been getting such terrible headaches- no OTC medication has been helping. This quite literally took my headache away almost immediately the other day. Today, I used it for anxiety, and same thing- I’m am no longer anxious in this moment. Will definitely be using this practice again very soon. Thanks so much.
This yoga is perfect for a person, that hasn't moved since Covid began. It really goes slow and stretches you out. All muscles are involved. Takes away all the tension and anxiety.
I'm 32 and have fibromyalgia. I get severe tension headaches that start in my neck. Doctors keep prescribing me meds that cause more side effects than they help so I can't take them. This yoga activity got rid of my headache almost completely when nothing else would. Thank you so much!

Oh my. 10 days of increasing stress and pressure from work had left me a complete mess on Saturday morning 3 weeks before Christmas. I searched for "yoga to relieve tension" and came across this video. 20 mins. I can spare 20 mins to try and feel better. And it's the best 20 mins I've spent all week. I just felt compelled to write something - 10 days ago I had a nervous breakdown. I'm a 4 year pancreatic cancer survivor with PTSD, anxiety disorder and health anxiety. My body was so used to being in fight or flight mode, I just shut down and completely broke down. It was hell on earth and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I started to research the parasympathetic nervous system and it all clicked into place - I had the power to overcome this obstacle with healthy, mindful and obvious choices that stare us in the face everyday, but we never think will work for us. I tried your stress and anxiety yoga and was hooked - I felt better instantly, and whilst I still obviously wasn't 100%, I feel that percentage go up daily. I practice 2/3 times a day at the moment and I've quite honestly never discovered something so profound and healing. I'm slowly resetting my nervous system with your help and you are completely and utterly amazing. Thank You xxx

I just did this. Really nice upper body stretch! Funny though, I’m left-handed and my natural leg cross is left leg in FRONT so I just mirrored you and did it all backwards. I have been doing your workouts almost every day for three months and I’m seeing results in my body. I am naturally very bendy, so yoga is perfect for me. You are my yoga Sensei. Namaste!

Hi I’ve tried this session a few times over the last 15 months but I couldn’t ‘feel’ the moves. Today though was very different...I felt mindful and fluid as I followed your calm voice through every breath and made each position matter to me and my restorative practice. My migraine is the one where the whole of my head throbs and it calms down only after getting a shot of diclofenac or p-mol. Tonight, when i had an episode it was too late and getting to a hospital 20 minutes away seemed impossible for me. So with nausea and eyes unable to open i tried your yoga.something amazing happened. The throbbing from my entire head stopped and moved down to the nape of my neck in the right side. Thank you sarah more than i can possibly say. I still have a request, if it's not too much to ask for. The bg music with beats in the middle of the video increased my breathing and brought a little increase in my heartbeat. Made me uneasy. I like how you calm us down with your composed talking and the meditating bg which you have towards the end of the video. It usually puts my chaos into complete rest. But otherwise i am always thankful to you and hope you stay blessed always.

Wow! SarahBeth. Thank you so much. I’ve trained in yoga before but fell out of practice and I’ve been so tense lately. A lot of stress as a mom and a single parent and a human being. Among many other titles. So, I just tried this video and I was glad that I did let have to extend my legs as I didn’t have a comfortable space to do so. What amazed me is how I relaxed my upper back muscles felt afterwards when I started to hunch over as I usually sit as well as my neck as I decided to see the difference between before and after. even though the stretches showed just how tense I was everywhere in my upper body, I just pushed and breathed through it. I love this 🤍 I’m recovering from long covid - have been bed bound and currently housebound and trying to find yoga suitable for sitting down/ not too vigorous but still restorative has been hard. But this ticked all the boxes and was so incredible. Thank you!

I LOVED this stretching session. I have been struggling with TMJ and after doing this (especially the beginning neck stretches) I finally had a little relief for a day. I will probably do this a few times a week.
I really love this one! The fact it’s seated is amazing. Some mornings I wake up and one half of my brain says ‘just chill here’ and the other half says ‘just 5 minutes a day is better an hour a week’ and I find this and its best of both worlds! Especially the mediation minute 🧘🏽♀️🧘🏽♀️🧘🏽♀️

Thank you so very much for this video. I used it today to help alleviate some of the stress due to being in the hospital. Due to knee issues, I cannot do them on the floor, so I do them while seated in the bed. Looking forward to trying more of them!

I LOVED this stretching session. I have been struggling with TMJ and after doing this (especially the beginning neck stretches) I finally had a little relief for a day. I will probably do this a few times a week.
I really love this one! The fact it’s seated is amazing. Some mornings I wake up and one half of my brain says ‘just chill here’ and the other half says ‘just 5 minutes a day is better an hour a week’ and I find this and its best of both worlds! Especially the mediation minute 🧘🏽♀️🧘🏽♀️🧘🏽♀️
