Ingredients: 430g Plain or all-purpose flour 1 tsp salt 1 tsp sugar 7g dried yeast 1 330ml can of Lemonade (swap for water if desired) 50g butter (melted) 1 egg for eggwash (I used just the yolk) Sesame seeds (optional) put the flour into a large bowl and add the salt/sugar/yeast and mix in. Add the melted butter and finally add the lemonade. Mix until a dough forms, pop onto a floured surface (dough may be sticky) add more flour and knead for 5/10mins., adding flour if needed. Form a ball and pop back into the large (now oiled) bowl, cover and put in a warm place for 1 to 2 hours, until it has doubled in size (I left it overnight in the fridge with no problems) Pop onto a floured surface and knead for a few minutes before shaping into a ball. Divide in half. With one ball, divide again into 3 equal pieces. With each piece make a long sausage shape, Join the ends together and plait (as seen in vlog) tuck under the end and pop into a prepared basket (already lined with parchment paper on crisper plates) Leave for 30 mins to an hour to rest. Egg wash and sprinkle on sesame seeds (optional) put on BAKE setting 180c/350f for 25mins. They may need flipping for further 5 mins (I put temp at 160c/320f) Leave to cool completely before slicing and enjoying...
I just know Fanta Cake back from the 80ths 😄 loved to bake this delicious cake a lot as youngsters. Absolutely love the idea to make one now in my air fryer, thank you for sharing 🥰
I make lemonade scones..... And beer bread. They both are recipe's that you can find on the internet. The beer bread is great because you don't have to use yeast and it's made from start to finish and ready to eat in 1hr ... You can also add olives in the mix if you like.❤.... It's beautiful!! ❤️
Yes certainly, for the full recipe and video instructions type in on RUclips.... "Cooking with MsGoldengirl - Beer Bread" .....This will take you to the full video. I have made it numerous times although in a regular oven. I'm sure you will be able to convert into Air fryer temperature and times. 😊👋
The bread looks yummy, I only make scones now with lemonade only 3 ingredients 3 cups of self raising flour 1 cup double cream and 1 cup of sprite lemonade. Never cooked them in the air fryer though only the oven. Love your cooking 😊
I never knew about lemonade scones either Maria! (Where have I been!?!) Think I need to try that too, do you just bung those 3 ingredients into a bowl and mix? 😀👍💕
@@budgetcookinguk yes just mix I don’t even use a rolling pin just my hands then cut and put in the oven or your case the air fryer. Honestly they’re great you could even mix fruit in or cheese. Hope you give them a go 👍
Hi kerry that's a good recipe but it's different to the one I used mine was 375 grms of SR flour and 300 mls of lemonade and that was it and it actually works I made the left overs into a bread and butter pudding and I've also made fruit bread too 😂
Ratio of flour to liquid here seems wrong if so much flour is needed when kneading. Better to use less liquid then add bit by bit till the right dough consistency is reached.
what a different way to make bread, im really intrigued. i love making bread so trying this is a must. did you find that there was any different taste to normal .bread.I baked my last batch in the cosorri oven and it was very very nice so i will give it a go how like you kerry to try something different you go girl
Aww thank you Grace😀💕💕 it tasted lovely, the lemonade taste was very subtle but there, I'm wondering if normal lemonade (rather than diet) would have been better for taste. It was really lovely despite the subtleness😄
Hi Kerry another good video from you always up beet and happy Thank You. Have you tried tiger bread yet I have got a dual blaze waiting to be used my normal oven is getting removed after xmas so I am making a list of all things to try. Take Care x
this looks super easy and delicious!! I 'm really thinking of trying it, however i'm a bit worried about how sweet it turns out. I saw you used just a little bit of sugar, but i assume the lemonade has loads of it? Would it work with sparkling water instead for example?
@@maxineb9598 i didn't notice that, since we don't have that brand here it is easy to miss anyway. Still though, all these drinks have an elevated sweetness anyway no matter what sweetener they use. So I'm curious on how sweet it turned out .
Gm Kerry, Harrison and I going to make this using lemon Fanta. I have made lemonade scones before, and they were amazing. Im going to put mine in the speedi to prove as it worked the last time. Those look amazing Kerry, enjoy. Have a lovely weekend. Xxxxx Jac ♥️ 💚
@budgetcookinguk Evening Kerry. We didn't attempt it today. it's been so bloody cold here, -4 until about lunchtime. Made cranberry, stuffing, and sausage rolls today. They were bloomin delicious. Last night, we had crispy chicken, cranberry, stuffing, bacon, and cheese wraps. Any excuse to have cranberry and stuffing, haha. I will make the bread if I'm up early tomorrow, and that way, it will be ready for when Colin and Harrison wake up. We are going to get the tree up tomorrow, I think 🎅🎄. We are all good, I hope Al and the Boys are fine and dandy. Keep warm and enjoy the rest of your weekend. Xxxx Jac 💚 ♥️
@budgetcookinguk BTW Lemonade scones were very easy to make, and the smell reminded me of my Grans house as she always had fresh scones made. Definitely one you should try. Xxx
Yes, althou I would use a non diet one next time, it was all they had in the shop, think the results are meant to be better if not diet (from looking at recipes). 7-up is lemonade, just a brand name 😀👍👍
I have never egg washed bread I only ever pop a bit of milk on top, will have to try it, I know you have mentioned it before and I wondered about it then. Thanks for sharing. I wonder if poppy seeds on top would be nice on top. My hubby thinks they may do an egg wash on top of tiger bread to give it the appearance it has, however we have no real idea on that. Bread looks very tasty.
Thank you Karen😀💕💕 someone else mentioned Poppy seeds, reckon they would be lovely too - need to get some for the cupboard. I've been looking at tiger bread recipes, planning on giving it a go!
@@budgetcookinguk yes thst does sound nice. I don’t eat a lot of bread but I do love tiger bread. Some shops are nicer than others. I will look out and see what you think. 💕💕

I used a magnifying glass and it says lemonade on the can.
I was only joking, hinting a bit of gin in there. Gin for me and lemonade for the bread😂x

No Ian😀👍 but your comment took me down a very welcome rabbit hole search for tiger bread recipes, so will definitely give it a go
Let us know how long it stays fresh for please Kerry
Very fresh on day one, a little bit less fresh day 2 ok for eating fresh and toasted, day 3 perfect for toasting only - all gone by day 3 Jen😀👍💕💕
Hi kerry looked lovely qould wondering what it would taste like toasted or with egg thats if you not eaten it all allready 😂
That's what I had this morning Big Steve, how'd you know!? It was lovely 😋😋
Does the lemonade make the bread sweeter? Not keen on sweet bread.
Why didn't you prove in the cosori ?
