KLM | Business Class | B737-900 | Amsterdam - Lisbon

Lohnt es sich, bei KLM in die Business Class zu upgraden? Für 99 Euro ist das doch eigentlich ein Schnäppchen. Doch vor allem bei der alternden Boeing-737-Flotte von KLM muss man sich die Frage stellen, wie viel ein Upgrade wirklich wert ist. Vor allem, wenn auch in puncto Service der Unterschied zur Economy Class nicht so groß ist.
Is it worth upgrading to Business Class with KLM? For 99 euros, it's actually a bargain. But especially with KLM's ageing Boeing 737 fleet, you have to ask yourself how much an upgrade is really worth. Especially when the difference to Economy Class in terms of service is not that great.

My reasons for upgrading are priority check-in and security, lounge access, priority boarding, better leg room and a free middle seat, better catering than in economy class and complimentary alcholic drinks, priority disembarkation and luggage delivered first on the baggage belts on arrival.

@@AviaMax From my experience I can tell that the early delivery of luggage looks nice on the paper... but I often realized that some airports really give a sh** about the priority label on luggage (e.g. Naples, italy; Corfu) and even delivery your luggage at last, if you are unlucky.

The food looks terrible and bad standard for a European airline. AF, Iberia, Lufthansa and Austrian are miles ahead in service standards and quality’s

I would definitely agree on that when it comes to the breakfast. However, the noodles dish was really delicious.
