Thank you for the videos on the typeS I’m also getting ready to do the same on mine. Really helps looking at your videos just to see all the issues going forward. Thank you 🙏🏼
Just found your channel. Looking forward to more updates. I always really liked the TL, especially the Type S. Never owned one but I always liked them.
Heyyy maaan!! I’m new to your channel. I own a 05 TL.6 speed manual. I’m finding new shit wrong with it every time I open the hood🤣🤦🏻♂️ I found it was in a wreck in the front and today I found like 3/4 of a inch of bondo on the LR quarter panel 🤦🏻♂️ The guy I bought it from told me everything is perfect with the car! That’s the last time I buy a car at nighttime and 30• outside!🤣🤣💪🏼 ❤️ your channel,Bro! Keep it up 👍🏻
Especially since you have a manual, I had one and it was beast! I just had to keep going on because it's experience building for me to keep switching cars.
No not yet, it might be because I didn't remove it when I cleaned the oil pump in the parts cleaner and made it go bad, or the sensor isn't compatible with the older 07/08 ECU.
Great question Rayan. I was just researching that this week. It’s interesting how the 3.7 isn’t used anymore. Although Gapplevr4 appears to have found a good one.
Mine does it. It started shortly after I bought it at 110,000 miles. I would definitely just suggest keeping carbon buildup minimal on them. I’m iffy on additives for carbon cleaning, but I kinda wish I tried something
how is the car now. I bought one at 225k clean tittle but trans is out for 2k. Working on fixing it right now. Please let me know and we can talk more!
Hey bro, that's misfire or something with the fuel. It sounds like when cars used to have a distributor and they would get water in it while cleaning the engine, they ran just like that.
Sorry I haven't updated, but I need to!! I sorted it out and been driving it to work, I just need to upload the next vid of the following problems/fixes

Good job so far bro, already looks 1000X time better than the original video
Appreciate that thanks!
I don't have a TL but thank you for taking the time to do these videos .Never know it might help me out or someone else in the future

Great work bud! Keep doing what you do! It’s much appreciated! Especially in the TL community! Hope all is well!

Bro I love these cars for how reliable they are, don't give up!

Enjoying the content. Please keep it up. Learning a lot!

Hello fellow tl guys. I am currently doing a manual swap on a 3g tl base. Lmk if you would like content on that. Contemplating documenting the swap.
I'm an expert Berryman B12 Chemtool user. That will clean the fuel tank to the exhaust. Don't waste your time soaking heads.
Is the TL 3.2 fit a 3.5
Friend, can I put a j37a1 in a 2007 acura tl automatic without modifying anything?
Great job explaining what you've done, did you get the oil light issue resolved?
No not yet, it might be because I didn't remove it when I cleaned the oil pump in the parts cleaner and made it go bad, or the sensor isn't compatible with the older 07/08 ECU.
What’s up bro. Just found your channel. Was wondering if you were in the tri state area? I have a 08 type s that needs some work done
Sorry, no
I'm in the Houston TX area for anyone else that might need work done
Aren’t the j37 notorious for burning oil and building up carbon? Have you came up with a workaround for it or?
Not all of them, no oil consumption here

I have a 2005 Acura TL 3.2 Automatic
Was wondering if it’ll fit my 2004 Honda Accord sedan
No it won't, the bell housing pattern is not the same
the bell housings are the same, the 2007 TL got the new bell housing and the 2008 Accord did as well
STILL WAITING ON THE FINAL RESULTS!!
Working on editing part 6 now
PART 6 IS OUT!
Are you able to use the same ECU or did you have to buy a J37A2 ECU? Also where did you get the engine?
Same ECU
Which ECU do you use
Did you have to change the original ecu
Stock ecu, no change
Hey brother what cat converter's did you go with? Also did they just bolt up to the factory J pipe?
You have to switch to the 2009 and up Acura/Honda j series catalytic converters as the j37 uses the wider flange cats. Factory j pipe bolts right up

Did u have to change the ecu to the j37 ecu?
No
I was thinking about doing the j35 swap on a 2006 6mt swap out the 3.2 so should be plug and play?
It depends what j35 you're using because the 07 and 08 TL Type s j35 will not work on anything from 2004 through 2006
2008 accord sedan or coupe
Or the 2006-2008 RL 3.5
Late comment but wouldn’t fail smog bc of this
