    Coconut Milk From-4 (whole Coconut)
    Jaggery-1 Kg ( water to Boil 2 Cups)
    All Purpose flour-2 1/2 cup
    Cardamom Powder-1 1/2 Tsp
    Salt to your-1 Tsp
    Cashew-1/3 Cup
    Roasted sogo-1/3 Cup
    Roasted urad dal-1/3 Cup

    How did u extract the coconut milk from it. I tried many times but the coconut milk was like water

      Hi milana, sry for the late reply..Next time use hot water to extract the milk and use a blender if possible.

      Hi ramanan, it all depends if is dry,wet,etc..Example for dry ingredients 1 cup Or 128 g Or 4.5 oz

      Yes. In Malaysia we prepare dodol glutinous flour. It is the malays s favourite here.
      Only sugar, coconut milk and flour.
      This recipe looks very nice.

      Monachan1292 1292 oh I see .. we use rice flour to but when using rice flour won’t be able to keep it for long time. But when I use all purpose flour I am able to keep it for more then a month..thank you so much for your comments

      Thank you radhika for your comments. If you divide this recipe in half then you get smaller amount , instead of 4 coconut use 2 coconut

    Usually cadju nuts goes at the last minute if you add it very early cadju will become very soft isn't it? Maybe I'm wrong

      Yes correct but remember when the oil start to come the cashew nuts get fried more & more tastier & crispier. Thank you dear.

    In Malaysia, dodol is made of glutinous rice flour, thick coconut milk and jagery only. It takes long hours to make

    Beautiful Tamil like my Sydney sister speaks..here in our country we do dodol in glutinous rice flour (Thailand )very sticky but no Dal, ghee , nuts sago. same method of yours takes longer hrs...I won't do. Almost same as halva.
