If I was picking one song to show someone what Evanescence is. This might be the one. Great vocals, piano, band, choir background, strings. It's kind of everything EV is really. It's Amy using 99.9% of her music toolbox.

As far as suggestions as to what to do next I guess I’ll go by album:
Fallen - Imaginary, Whisper, My Last Breath
The Open Door - Lithium, Sweet Sacrifice, The Only One... but if u want a piano ballad: Good Enough
Evanescence - A New Way to Bleed, The Other Side, Disappear, The End of the Dream
Lost Whispers - Missing, Even in Death (2016 version), The Last Song I’m Wasting On You
Synthesis - Imperfection, Your Star (synthesis version), Lacrymosa (synthesis version)... keep in mind most songs on this album are reworkings of older material reimagined with orchestra and electronic elements - I wouldn’t listen to the reimagined versions before hearing the original versions tho. Imperfection and HiLo are the only 2 original songs on that FYI.
I honestly could name every song but I guess I think u may like those ones so maybe give them a try...

Great reaction! Yes, this was a former guitar player who co-wrote open door with her Terry. He was lead guitar on open door and self-titled. Definitely listen to Synthesis version too.
So, I apologize because I've been commenting on your Ev vids all night. Please forgive me for bombing you. I waited to save this video for last because this is my 2nd favorite evanescence song and I already liked your content cause you explained the under riffs and bass and drums. You're a musician and it shows. But honestly I couldn't wait for you to get to around 9:25ish when it became piano and the guitar follows the piano in note. NO other reaction video for your star that I've seen has picked up how powerful this moment in the song is. I'm thankful I found you cause I've tried to show plenty of people since the open door came out, how amazing this part and the after is and no one gets it. So thank you, sir. This is my favorite song of Evanescence. It's definitely their masterpiece. You need to listen to the live version, it's epic.

The beat that will uses on this song is the synthesis version. Will was not the drummer until after they finished recording this album. He did tour it though.
