Glad u like the song! My favorite part of this song is the bridge. Also, Don’t forget that with “Good Enough” the music video does not include the intro of the song…so an idea would be to listen to the audio version so u can hear the intro and then switch over to the music video… I would recommend the music video def cuz it conveys the message and meaning of the song about the “light at the end of the tunnel” vibe. Looking forward to that, more evanescence, linkin park and muse reactions! Be well!
The bridge of this song is incredible, it goes higher and higher. Great suggestion regarding Good Enogh's intro and I'm also looking forward to more Evanescence, Linkin Park and Muse reactions
Mike, great reaction as usual. You pointed out how Amy layers her vocals; this produces harmonies and textures that are hauntingly beautiful . Amy is a master of vocal composition and it is a defining trait of Evanescence's sound. I’m so glad you pointed out that the guitar has a voice of a tune. I’ve been saying this about this album since it came out. Every instrument is distinctly different and feels like it’s the voice of the person playing it. It all comes together so beautifully and so nicely but it’s extremely poetic and unique. I really hope they bring that feeling back

So much texture in this song! Really love that part where you said “strings” in the background. Creepy subject, and what a dark place for her to dare to go into when it really happened to her in real life. I’m pretty sure I’d need therapy…
Amy really did experiment with vocal layerings in this album and it sounds sooo haunting good.
This is kind of similar to her song though to be original made for Narnia - “Together Again” but was not included because it was too dark

I just love your reactions, also love this song. One of my favorites from the open door album… as said in other comments check out from the same album Good Enough , the steinway video…awesome interview and she singing on their grand piano is really beautiful.

Don't know if anyone already said it here, but back in the day Amy's username on EvThreads and I think also on EvBoard was Snow White.
I'm not from EvBoard's time (that was before EvThreads). I used to go to EvThreads for some years during the TOD era.
These were places to talk about all things Evanescence with fans from around the world.
I think all Ev band members had their usernames there and would post something once in a while.
And just to let it clear, I don't think her stalker was from any of those places. Nobody thought that. I think she just used her online username for the song.

I don't think there is 1 Amy song where it isn't about something either she saw of happened to her. Just like Never Go Back. If you lesson to it, it's great. But its mind blowing when you know it's about the tsunami that hit Japan. The song then jumps off the page at you. It's heart-breaking thinking about the people who were killed or their loved ones they can't get to.

I have reacted to two of their songs so far, but from what I've heard so far they are pretty amazing. In regards to what you said about female fronted bands, I guess I haven't really noticed, but yeah I guess I do react to a good amount of female fronted music, which is great! I'm happy to add what little exposure my small channel can to helping spread the good word on any female fronted music!

How would you have me do it, Guy Behind a Keyboard? Dude, don't tell me how I should do my videos. If you don't like the reactions or my format that's cool, but completely uncalled for to be a dick about something this trivial. But I'll be the better man and stay respectful about it. I give artists more attention than most by trying to get some insight on the music, when insight is available, rather than just listening to the songs. Make money, huh? I dont get paid for this. The only thing I 'earn' from music reactions is an increased love of music. This is not a monetized video, if it was you'd see an ad. Music reactors dont make money from reactions, unless they've filed a claim with youtube that the video does not break copyright. The record label then has to review your claim and they would have to agree the video does not break copyright, which basically almost never ever happens. You wouldn't know all of this, and that's understandable.... But you decided to make an assumption instead. Have a good day.
