I have a lot of respect for anyone who attempts a song of Amy Lee's. Amy's voice is just so powerful and beautiful, I can't imagine the anxiety of covering her music.

I don't really feel anxiety covering her music, but I also can't do just straight up do covers. I get so shakey and awkward when it is just my voice or if I'm too loud over the singer...but with amy I do literally fine.
They are siren songs. Her pitch is horrible off of auto tune. Live ugh.

The second girl created her own rendition of my immortal but didn't over do it. She appreciated the original music and kept Amy Lee's soulful way of song delivery in her own way.

I've loved Amy and Evanescence for around 20 years and it warms my heart to see her music is so warmly loved and appreciated around the world, that so many young ladies are prepared to imitate her. Nobody can do what Amy does, but even so, it's lovely to watch this. Thank you.

IM a huge Evenesence fan. Amy Lee is one of the best female singers of all time. I love Bring Me To Life and My Imortal, but I would like to see more Evenesence songs being performed. They have alot of beautiful music like My Heart is Broken, Lithium, Better Without You, What You Want, Going Under, Sacrifice, Call Me When Your Sober, and alot more.

Let`s be honest, audacity is sooo not enough to cover songs that you have mentioned. Amy is a badass soprano, Imho her songs rate ''r.i.p. to my throat'' to ''question your existence'', so people f8ck up heavily most of the time when they try to sing in tune to say the least

I agree. Evanescence is NOT a one hit wonder band. Amy is a goddess. So, it kind of makes me mad when people just choose BMTL or My Immortal. They should choose a different song except for "Hello" and "Like You" because those songs are very personal to Amy.

It's not only the range, the arrangement of the song really worked. It's different but it keeps the essence of the song. And yes, she rocked

Loved trio cover Bring Me To Life, especially the opera singer and the guy singer!
Sorry but they over did it with vocal gymnastics, it was very unpleasant to listen to. The girl on the left had pitch problems. This is a rock song where you need to have a good head voice. Opera does not belong in this song, it was too gimmicky. The guy was okay.
That's your opinion and is okay. Check out Epica, they are symphonic metal band and I highly enjoy them.

She basically created a genre of goth opera is the only way I can actually say it and it sound right in my head. If you listen to all of her songs they are beautiful amazing powerful f****** renditions of her emotions the s*** she's been through like it's the other way I can describe it she created a genre that I've never even seen someone else attempt❤

The first lady was the best. Not only a unique interpretation, but nailed it as well. Really glad people are inspired enough to sing it as their audition.
Are you kidding? She overdid it so badly. Just because you can sing high notes doesn't mean there's any actual feel or sentiment to it.
These songs are not easy to sing the nuances of power and emotions is not easy to capture these ladies did great.

Love this video. EVANESCENCE is my favorite band ever! I wish that more people will select more songs from them other than My Immortal and Bring Me to Life (eventhough i loved those songs)
But not anyone can sing them rather just hear Amy lee do them than have them butchered Although these folks do ok still not Amy lee and evanescence they are above the gold standard

No one can "cover" her songs, she Is a talent unto herself. She can't come close to being duplicated.
It's not that deep if you're an artist people sing your songs but it doesn't mean they assume they sing them better or take the song from the artist

As a huge Evanescence fan, I can say that Romy and Elien were the best! They have great clear voices and they feel the emotions of the songs. The first part of Anne's performance was so deep and emotional too, but then smth went wrong... And though Tetiana's performance has some downsides, she's the only one here who has a true rock vibe 👍

Wow this super cut is a good reminder of how hard singing is, and that Amy Lee is truly skilled at her craft, she is a unique blend of rock and classical vocal skill, very few have or will come near such talent. (And yes, I understand that there are plenty of singers who are "better than" Amy Lee, but Amy Lee is one of the best at what she specifically does)

People keep comparing her to Floor of Nightwish. Floor is magnificent, but so is Amy. They each stand out as having finely honed their craft. Their tones are different, the " colour" of their voices is different. I think they are both deserving of respect and just plain jaw dropped awe.
True but she really does have that extra that spark besides she’s so damn cute with her heart shaped face and she’s just a little bit. Then she opens her mouth and just shocks the hell out of you always amazed me something so powerful and beautiful comes out of her little bittyness (yes not a word but it fits) do just love love love Amy lee evanescence and anything Amy lee has anything to do with
Ok, I love Amy, she has a beautiful tone, a really moving voice and she has a special place in my heart because I used to sing a lot of her songs. But Floor is just another level (but not just compared to Amy, but compared to most female singers). Floor has a wider range, she can sing completely classical, rock, pop and even scream. Floor is THE best singer in metal by far (even though my favorites are Sharon Den Adel and Marcela Bovio, who are pretty good themselves.) Also, Amy is not that good live, especially when she sings heavier songs (she's good with ballads though), while Floor is flawless live.
But yeah, both deserve respect because both are good. Amy is a wonderful singer, but Floor is just a total BEAST.
Her songs are necessarily the hardest to sing, the snythesis lacrymosa (the high notes at the end, you just got really get good breath support by getting enough breath before and controlling it...you gotta really push out and have energy to really sing that out) and the end of the dream are probably my two most difficult songs she has done that I have sang. Mainly only for the high notes.
I also wish I could do actual covers and sing by myself, but I get way too awkward and shakey that I start sounding stiff and just can't sing. But, with another singer I am fine.
I always have my salute to those who dare to sing Bring Me To Life.

Mais infelizmente ela saiu um pouquinho do tempo no começo, e também ela estava cantando com medo e nervosismo não soou muito bem o belting voice dela e os técnicos perceberam.

Coming from a HUGE Evanescence fan.. I get why only BMTL and My Immortal are covered but if I could sing and damn it play piano impeccably like Amy! (and if I had the balls) I would cover Your Star. It’s a masterpiece of a song that shows true range in voice and piano skills.
The only one would be a good one for range too, if you can hit the high notes. Amy literally taught me to sing. I would just sit in front of the speaker blasting her music and sing for hours on end til I could sing along with her. Now my family can't stand her voice 😂😂
