Your takes are so good! I found it particularly interesting on this one, mainly because this is probably my least favorite track on the album. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still good! But it’s the one that felt the most like the previous album. It almost feels generic to me, and it’s cool how that’s kinda what you enjoyed about it.
But you’re right, sometimes less is more! Maybe I’ll start looking at this song in this new light.🤘🏼😎😂

Lots of nice chord/key changes and fingerpicking in the background. A lot of people miss that, hearing only the bar chords and her wonderful pipes. Fits in with the album in that regard--nothing on it is "ordinary".
