From what i understand , she wrote this about a tsunami that hit land and a man and his wife were torn away from each other. Once you know that, the song takes on a different meaning

Never Go Back foi inspirada nos terremotos e tsunami no Japão. O Álbum estava na pré produção quando aconteceu. Para inspiração da letra, Lee se colocou naquele cenário de catástrofe. Então a música é sobre perder tudo.😢
