This tank in paticular, was never in actual deployment related service. Was used on base until it’s retirement. But it probably would get more abused at Cody’s 😂😂
If you’ve ever stood inside or been around storage containers, then you understand just how insane that was.
Sadly that was not a real shipping container it was a aluminum truck box painted to look like a container
@@erinboatguyyeah, I've cut into quite a few conex boxes, and the side walls looked way too thin, and missing some critical structure.
You could pierce the side of a container with a heavy enough hammer, they aren't designed to take hits or much force from the sides, they're designed to stack up. Containers are mostly reinforced on the edges with tin between. Unless there's some special additional reinforcement for specialized cases. They're also designed to be as light as possible because shipping is expensive! This really isn't that impressive.
Interesting... Cody has a self-preservation instinct... didn't expect that... mentioned power lines a couple of times.
His holding on to the tank barrel as it came at him made me think otherwise.

Cody is completely INSANE , and I love it .
Watching Dave's reaction to the RPGs in the shop, I think it's safe to say he has come to that same conclusion 😅

Fuckin yeah they do, depending on the year, his chieftan either has the19L 6Cyl making 750HP or the 26L V12 making roughly 1300HP. If its the V12, at 5500RPM its making 5500 ft/lbs of torque
Cody literally looks like the main character in an action movie, and we just get little bits of the movie every time he uploads lmao.
When I was in the US Army, we'd drive the tank with the gun facing back and the only time it is facing forward is in battle. So you would not gouge the ground like that with the barrel.
Now that was fun to watch and the delicate little piano interludes just add that frivolous edge to it all.
Man I would love to hang out with these guys even if it's just for one day. Robby Layton, Cody and Dave that's a recipe for fun
I'd like to have the cash Cody goes through setting up just one episode of destruction like this as it would likely pay for all my fun projects for the rest of my life and then some. The cheapest used shipping container alone goes for about $1,500 however you can drop well over $100,000 on just a cheap tank in running condition.
I know its all fun however the price tag sometimes appears quite staggering when you think on it.

@@neilfromclearwaterfl81think of it this way. A few years ago Cody didn't think he could afford stuff either. Then he found out material things are meaningless in the long run and figured out how to make things happen in his favor.

They completely sealed off the barrel and made it unusable for any type of use before shipping it to the US. I’m sure the RPGs are the same. Just props.

if cody's guys can build a remote control tank, the army needs to get on board with that instead of putting soldiers in them.
you would literally have to follow it around with a helicopter, or drive it around with low field of view cameras, at which point you might as well just put the crew inside cause the visibility will be better being able to use all the hatches/lenses.... plus you have the ability to do field repairs when necessary.
Don't forget about loading artillery
