I love how felix being as sarcastic as he is, is often blind to obvious sarcasm
Reporter: "What if you used a Truck to 100% Capacity"
Scientists:
Whistlindiesel: somehow uses truck to 200 percent
it’s obvious felix isn’t a country boy. like 80% of all the boys here (sweden, but anywhere other than big cities), below the age of 20, mods their cars.
It's obvious Felix doesn't leave his house. He often talks about how no one in Europe or UK don't do things, but if he'd go outside those things are everywhere.
I think he was talking more about modding big cars/trucks culture
key word being dudes under 20, especially the ones with the warning signs on the back
Boys, maybe. But not the culture as a whole which is his point.
It's different in America as they do it way more often. Of course you see modded cars sometimes but not as often as America and also not on their level as many things aren't even allowed in Europe.
They have whole communities and put thousands of dollars into modding, little boys can't even afford that
Love it how pewdie does not understand what is going on and seems like Cinnamon is trying to explain that this is a test to help him not look stupid.
Knowing just how much of a giant troll his whole persona is just makes this kinda funny.
Ken said he lives in “Melbun” it’s official. He’s Australian.
*Melben
Can pronounce melbin but not hilux lol
That is how you say it here. Melbourne. Its pronounced Mel-bon.
So proud 🥲
who needs R's anyway
A Toyota Hilux is THE go to truck in most of South America, India, Australia, etc
That has to tell you something. Those things just don't break 😂
As a Guatemalan, can confirm
as a honduran, i can also confirm
Perfect for insurrectionists and Jihadi separatists
As a Paraguayan, yes. I just hate how those who drive it think they have the biggest cock when in fact most of them are middle age men who are involve in some type of illegality 🤣
As a brazilian. Yes
I see Ellis has moved on from killing zombies to building the craziest of trucks
As a swede myself, this is very inspirational and educational indeed.
As a Kiwi whose had a few of them, these old Hilux's are tough as old boots. The US equivalent is the Toyota Tacoma. The new ones are still pretty awesome but the older ones are now fetching ridiculous prices. Like 20k for a 30 year old ute.
Tacoma and 4Runner prices in the US are ridiculous as well. You see a 1980’s Tacoma with rusted body panels and wreck damage on one side with the tag “$9000 firm. I know what I got.” Ha
As an Indonesian, this is why Toyota is the Top Market Leader when it comes to cars. Cause they sell one Word "Durability". Also they have the best Interior design compare to other companies in Asia like Daihatsu, Isuzu etc
Daihatsu is toyota

I think we should appreciate how well the cement blocks were plastic wrapped. 😂
And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why the Toyota Hilux is often used in war.

@@chancelebron3975 I think I'd take the 89 4runner. Those things are epic in their own way

Pewds: " I don't really recognize this vehicle "
Me: A fellow South African where the only thing people drive are Toyota Hilux's
does their pronunciation tilt you at all? xD
@@alexandertheokay9943 Yes very much😂😂😂I'm used to pronouncing it as "High-Lux" as in High Luxury but without the "ury". But with further research on Google they where actually pronouncing it correctly.
as a fellow New Zealander 1/20 cars is a Hilux
As a South African in New Zealand these are like a national vehicle! but the pronunciation was getting to me! haha
I cant stand everytime they pronounce it as helix 🥶
When the hilux was in the US it was known as the Toyota Pickup and had a good un up until maybe mid 90s. My first vehicle was a 94 Toyota Pickup 4x4 and i can say... they were indestructible. Every week i was doing something to it either going off roading or accidently getting air time at a friends dirt track. Not that extream since im from Mississippi but i loved it!
As someone who was born in the Midwest, can confirm this is Murica
been watching Whistlindiesel since late 2018 and i never knew this side of ken existed, i could talk to this man about trucks for days
ken thank you for posting videos daily. I literally sat here refreshing knowing your video would pop up and i’d be able to smile for a few minutes. I appreciate you 💗
I mean he also posts these at 2am his time! Like how ken? how!?
Felix: "its an offroad vehicle, isnt it?"
Ken: :\
He knows lmao
You can tell he was in pain when he said that
I have a newer “high-lux” that I use like crazy here in the countryside of Brazil for almost 5 years. I drive super fast in very bad conditions dirty roads to visit the farms and the thing even doesn’t make a squeaky sound or vibrates at all. Looks and sounds like a brand new car. It is not for less that it's the favourite truck for terrorists/militia in the Middle East. Also, the Hilux is a really small truck.
I was like wtf is a helex its hi lux atleast somebody commented on it
@@nzkid3204 you are ripping my insides up it is not hilex it's hilux! You say HI then follow it with LUX then you link them that's how you pronounce it.
I've never seen a better selling point for a vehicle than this. "Toyota Helix, the only thing it can't survive is a drop from 8,000 meters high"
In Australia we call them hilux’s, highlux, not heelux. But Ken, you can call them whatever you want (just don’t let any Australians hear you call them heelux). 😉
I didn’t even realize that they were taking about a hilux until I saw the name on the side 😂
Felix: compains about other people getting off-roaders as their daily drivers
Also Felix: Daily drives a Volvo XC90

Pewds: "Why do people in the city buy big cars"
Also Pewds living in the city: "I love my Volvo because it's big"
The O.G. Volvos are SPACIOUS in terms of cargo capacity while being similar in size to normal vehicles.
@@sebastianstoltz7740 Agreed they are spacious on the inside but they are for sure one of the largest private vehicles on UK roads.
@@ThisIsStapes7 very small on our American roads
My dude an xc90 is a slightly lifted luxury wagon with a turbo 4cylinder/hybrid, a g wagon is a serious offroader with at least 4 liters and 8 cylinders. Thats like saying a tesla os a sportscar just because its fast.

This will always be my favorite collab episode
>pewds and ken being amazed what a hilux can take
>remembering top gear dropping a building on one and it still running after
Unkillable truck
There's a reason I've had the same Toyota Tacoma since I was 16. I'm 30 now, and my baby is nearly indestructible. Only ever had one thing go wrong. It was the A/C, from a parking lot hit and run. That hit shoved everything backward, and still everything worked perfect for almost a year. Then only the air system was damaged. I love my perfect lil' truck 🙆♀️
I wish felix knew whistling diesel like we did so he knew he didn't mess up the intro he was just acting dumb for shits and giggles 😂
I love how Ken is always recording in a different spot 😂🙌🏽
in aus we call em “high-lux” and theyre the most sold vehicle. ive got one from 1985 that i did up n it still runs like a beast. theyre well known for being reliable and valuable for resale
In south africa too😂
There just isn't enough space in Europe for these kinds of shenanigans.
Not enough wealthy ppl Who like To something fun.......
Felix doesn’t get it. He doesn’t do cheesy intros because he doesn’t care. 90% of everything is sarcastic or ironic. It’s just about the entertainment aspect. Love WD
Tf are you on his intro is the worst how it going bros click off anytime I hear that

Haaaaazit ha yew?
They're banned in the states 🥺
They're also really popular in Australia too>~
In Germany basically no one mods their car because it will be bad for insurance and the guarantee will immediately be removed if you mod.
@@Hamstr_Games No it’s legal to mod but most people want to sell their car and get a new one every 3 years or so. If you mod it you lose resell value and your gewährleistung (state mandated guarantee) that you have for the first 2 years. Sometimes you even have 5 years contractual guarantee if you let the dealer do an inspection every year so you’d lose that too.
When I my mom retired from teaching, the fist thing she did was buy a Ford FXR V8. We live on a farm so it is somewhat useful (even though it was built for racing) and it’s actually really comfortable.
