Felix: “the next generation after us is going to all live in motor homes, I’m sorry” Me: lives in a camper on my parents property because apartments are too expensive…
This bus is definitely geared towards someone that'd live in it full time. My bf lived in a bus (not this nice but nicer than most) for a few years and according to him it was pretty great having a nice place to live but also go wherever whenever he wanted, said the entire world felt like his front yard. Also he lived in the bus when 9/11 happened and since he thought there might be a war coming he said it was comforting knowing he could go park in the middle of nowhere and be fine.
@@fami_loz probably not for most but if you live in a vehicle they don't have housing prices to pay so maintenance and other expenses become the rent from what ive heard also if they are mechanically minded buses are just bigger not much more complex.
Nahh, as someone that lives in an RV, this one is definitely NOT for full timing. That stupid little car eats up ALL the space, there's not really any space for anything except sleeping and driving. It's gorgeous, and all the curves give you slightly more room to put little things, but mean there's nowhere to put bigger (like even laptop-sized) things that aren't already built in. This is basically a rich people road trip vehicle and not much else.
3:15 Thats actually really good, trucks with that weight usually get around 7 miles per gallon. Depending on the size of this ones fuel tank it might be able to go 3500 miles or more on one full tank... but it will cost you about 2500$ to fill it up :P
6:04 Felix: “What’s the generation after us? Cuz they’re gonna all live in motor homes or I don’t know what you’re gonna do. Sorry. You’re screwed, all of you.” Felix’s kid: WAAA
As someone who works in the film industry, this is something that I am sure would work amazing in backlots of filming area's and studios. Especially if you can put the money down for something like this. I see directors, producers, and named actors totally using this as they pretty much live in trailers while filming for most their life's.
Would it be a studio expense or a personal expense? Like if The Rock didn't want a normal trailer, would he be the one paying for this home + shipping it to the location (assuming it's not in the US) or would the studio pay for the home + shipping or would The Rock pay for the home but the studio for shipping?
The more machinery and features a thing like this has, the more maintainance it may need, imagine finding someone to fix the ladder, the table turn, it looks like maintainance hell. Think about the consumption, right now as they present it its empty, what about when you start to put all your clothes and things you need to live plus people, its even worse. This looks nice but its awful, inconvenient, too big. You are better off buying a good truck, a laptop + a good quality tent.
@@tinsucevic it would depend on whatever was negotiated in the contract if you’re interested I guess. If this was a selling point for you, you might be able to negotiate it as a perk.

To be fair, a huge motorhome like this would be great for touring bands, no need to go back home after the gig as you drove your house with you xD Great video :)
This would be great for performers, athletes etc that tour for months at a time. You spend less time renting cars, buying plan tickets and paying for hotel rooms. You would also preserve your mental and physical well being, extending your career in the process. It would cost a lot to maintain as well as driver fees but if you’re making 5-10 million a year this wouldn’t be a problem, it’s just another business expense for you accountant to handle. When your career wraps up or when your schedule settles down you can sell the vehicle and get some of the initial investment back, and I imagine that well-maintained vehicles like this would retain a reasonable amount of value.
I love it when Felix and Ken collab! Also, if you're gonna do the zombie apocalypse, might as well do it in style. I'm sure you can dump that car for two dirt bikes.
Felix, heated towel racks are used to dry your towels faster: it avoids fast bacteria spread. Thats what they're for. You basically can't do without them in humid and cold environments.
Heated towel racks can work well if you have a bathroom that has high humidity. My parents’ bathroom was really small so it was always too humid for their towels to fully dry. Instead of adding a dehumidifier which would have been an added power drain that requires more maintenance and take up more space than they had, when they got the bathroom redone, they got a heated towel rack. It’s worked really well to make sure their towels always fully dry. I imagine a small bathroom on a motor home might have a similar problem.
