- Getting the C4 Fabrication Low Pro winch bumper ready with a Warn VR Evo 10s. In this video I unbox and install the winch as well as remove the upper control/ wiring box. The install was straight forward and I was surprised at how easy all the bolts lined up. Also, a huge plus the winch comes pre spooled. It's ready to install right out of the box. Getting closer to bumper install. When I install the bumper I will go over the wiring and control box install relocation. Hope you enjoy. Links below.

I just installed a VR Evo 10 S on a Tacoma 3rd gen with the Warn bumper. The solenoid did fit on top with an inch to spare. I can't speak to other brand bumpers, but the Warn bumpers appear to leave enough room to avoid relocation (with the VR Evo 10 S at least).

Hi Spartan. That's a Warn winch you installed with no solenoid relocation on a Warn Bumper not a C4 bumper?
Did you ever a do follow up video showing the rest of the install? I browsed through your videos and couldn't find it. I'm really curious to see how you relocated the control box.

Did the weight with the winch and bumper make your truck leaning down?
I have aftermarket springs, so if it it the amount was minimal. Nothing I noticed. Thanks for watching.
@@ClassyTacos i also got suspension too. I have bilstein 6112 amd 5160 so just curious if i will need a beeter suspension if the bumper makes it go down in front..

so you have to pop the hood? I guess that's not that tough...
@@cementtacocalifornia5638 My winch can run wired or wireless. Yes, you have to pop the hood to run wired. Almost all Tacoma after market bumpers have the winches hidden deep.
@@ClassyTacos I ordered the SSO tube bumper and need to get a winch for it. Haven't decided on the winch yet but need to relocate the solenoid most likely. How you like the Warn winch?
