Thanks man. Been thinking about that winch plate for the same reasons you mention. Looks good. 1. How necessary do you think those bumper reinforcements are since the winch plate itself is already adding extra structure? 2. So the bulldog plate came with no mounting hardware?

What year is your truck? I know 16 to 23 models are the same but the company says it only fits 16-19 models. Thank you
To my knowledge nothing has changed in the bumper, the company probably said 16-19 because that was the latest year the product was available during that time frame on the latest Tacoma. They probably didn’t update the compatibility
Side note, just did research onto this guys stuck from your channel, it’s a 2021.
Googling the product brings up 2 web pages for the site (maybe one old and one new) and the same SKU is given with descriptions for different types years, but all Gen 3. Looks like they only put years up to when they last updated the part description. I've seen reviews from people saying they put it on a 2023. So all Gen 3s.
You should at the very least, cover the positive wire to battery, so it doesn't chaff from vibration.

Especially if you choose the TRD lift from Toyota
Why doesn't the BAMF company just make the damn thing so that it fits? I'd have just sent it back for a refund as being falsely advertised. Not all of us have tools to weld and cut metal.
