Classys Garage
США
Добавлен 16 фев 2020
Hello and welcome, thanks for stopping by. I'm Just a dude in the garage or my driveway trying to film installs, mods and trail rides on an Iphone. This is something I do for fun, I have a full time career, a feisty Columbian/Irish wife and 3 crazy ass kids. This is how I de-stress, in the garage getting shit done. Even though woking on stuff sometimes just adds more stress. I like pain and the challenge. I try to make my videos as short as possible with little to no fluff. I want you to know the real amount of work/time it takes to get things done. That way you can decide if its worth it for you. I don't own a drone and I take terrible instagram photos. The large majority of my installs/mods are a huge pain the ass and I like to do things the hard way. If that sounds appealing and you enjoy my content, consider subscribing. I appreciate it. Thanks! Hope to see you back soon.
Stay Classy,

Corbeau Trialcat Seats Review | 1 Year in a 3rd Gen Tacoma

Thanks for stoping by. Today I'm going over the install, what I like and what I don't like about the Trailcat seats from Corbeau. Overall they are great seats in comparison to the stockers. Install was a breeze and with the heated seat option these thing are sick. I love the way they look and they are super supportive. I paid full price with a Military discount for them. Corbeau offers 10% off ...

Thanks for stoping by. Today I'm replacing the batteries in the key fob of my 2000 E55 AMG, W210. This is the older key fob that I like so much more than the newer ones. It's lighter, smaller, thinner and sits in your pocket better. Super easy to do, you just need two 2025 batteries. RM Engineering PCV Re Route on a 3rd Gen Tacoma
Просмотров 7054 месяца назад
Thanks for stoping by. Today I'm installing a kit from RM Engineering which re routes the PCV system. Several 3rd gens have blown engines due to the PCV system dumping oil into the cylinders creating a hydro lock or oil not getting back into the pan fast enough. This usually happens on a slope or an incline. The valve cover will fill with oil where the oil passages are too small for the volume ...
Hobby Plus CR 18P Evo Pro Upgrades | New to RC

Thanks for stoping by. Today I'm going over my new RC and a couple mods that were done to the Hobby Plus CR18 Evo Pro. Right of the box this is one of the best all around RTRs for the price. Portals, dual speed trans, low COG, multiple shock mounts and a large engine. This thing rocks, super happy with it. Now I need to find an off-road course to really test it out. All links below, thanks for ...
LED Whip Wiring with a trailer plug | Tacoma
Просмотров 9517 месяцев назад
Thanks for stoping by. Today I'm doing a proper re-wire of the LED Whips. I had removed all the clips and accessories while I was tracking down the short. I was looking for a solution to remove the quick tabs permanently, I came across the 7 Pin RV / Trailer adaptor that worked perfectly. You have to wire the whips to the adaptor and now it can be unplugged when not in use. This also removes th...
The Chute at Sand Hollow

@jdesigns7239 and myself tackling the Chute at Sand Hollow. So if you don't know the Chute is an obstacle towards the end of Double Sammy trail in Sand Hollow. Before anyone starts to brag about doing the Chute, just know it's the easiest obstacle on the entire Double Sammy trail. I'm not exagerating when I tell you the Doubly Sammy trail is no joke. It's more of a buggy trail than the daily dr...

This is awesome - I will do that to my truck, too... can you post the drill number you use for the holes and the measurement of how far down from the top of the plate - I already hit those links and have the plate and the light --- will appreciate the guidance
Thanks man, I measured 7 1/2 inches down from the top of the tailgate to the top of the plate bracket and i'm in from the side of the tailgate about 1 1/2 - 2 inches. For the drill bit use whatever size that fits the lights you purchased. Thanks for watching.
Great video. is it recommended to replace both the left and the right hub assembly at the same time? Or can you just replace the one making noise?
You can just to one if you're in a bind. You should always do them both. When one goes the other will be coming up soon as they generally get installed together. Thanks for watching.
I just need to know if I’m gonna kick stuff under my heels on the Mille panel? If just want it for a flashlight & tire pressure gauge. But feel free to like I’ll catch my heels on anything I put under there
Meh sometimes. With my seat position I don't notice it. It does not constantly get it in the way or anything. At least with what I have attached to it. Thanks for watching.
Just found this video and you’re the only one who showed a push button switch. HUGE thank you, you have saved me so much of a headache my man 🤘🏼
@@angelocasaburri3 anytime, thanks for watching. Hope it all goes smoothly for you.

How did you get those gauges tire pressure and trans temps.
Look in the X gauge settings. Directions -- To access ScanGauge 3 X-Gauge settings, navigate to the "Home" screen, press the "MORE" button, then select "X-Gauge" - from there, you can choose to "Auto Scan" to automatically detect available vehicle-specific gauges, or manually select specific X-Gauges by browsing through the list of available parameters for your vehicle; you can customize the display of each gauge with different units, warning thresholds, and color schemes depending on the readings. Thanks for watching.
I wonder if this works for trucks with a camper shell?
It might be to tight with a shell. Thanks for watching.
It actually fits just fine! I ordered it from Amazon and got here yesterday. Great find!
@@MrDoeMai Nice, good to know.
Man, I just got my '05 back from the dealer, had to have them do some stuff due to physical limitations, and they mentioned that there was some leaking around the oil filter. I wasn't gonna pay them $100 for an oil change, when I knew I'd be healed up soon, but seeing this vid has me wondering if this might be why that's leaking. Gonna be taking a look in a week or so, fingers crossed that it's just in need of an oil change and a new filter, but I'm SO appreciative that you put this out for us GX owners who do as much of our own work as we can.
I appreciate that. Gook luck; I hope it's a quick recovery and an easy oil change job for ya. Thanks for watching.
Hey brother how often do you grease them ? I’m just hearing noise on my driver side and kinda irritates me hearing it I only have 30,000 miles on my runner I have kings shocks and dirt king control arms pretty much the same set up and how often do you service your shocks ? Still kinda new to all this stuff. If you could give me some advice that would be cool
I hit you up on IG, right? Thanks for watching.
A belated Happy Veterans Day Marine! From a USAF vet.
@@atomicorang appreciate it, you too fine sir.
Thanks ... Headed out to the shop to do my 22 tacoma !

This helped out quite a bit. I'm currently tracking down a short that's popping the same damn 10 amp fuse for my STOP lights. Damn thing just started shorting out on me outta the blue yesterday. Everyone kept saying it was my starter, which made no sense being all the testing on it and its relay said it was fine. Hopefully the problem is something simple as what you found. BTW, does anyone happen to have a copy of the push button electrical circuit schematic for an automatic V6 3rd gen?
Good luck finding it, I hope it works out quickly for you. Try asking for the wiring diagram over on Tacoma World, I'm sure someone will put it up for you.
Will this rack work for any truck?
I can't say any truck, It would work for some with a decent amount of fab. Thanks for watching.
Marlin Rules!! Got me the 3030 big loop carbine!!
Nice.
was the wiring harness it came with long enough?
I needed 2 extensions, going by memory here. Thanks for watching.
Very helpful, particularly showing the difference in chucks. Thanks a lot for making this video.
Appreciate it, thank you.
Whats the fastest order to remove the coilover?
Sway bar, Tie rod, lower bolt, and upper bolts. Done. I have no sway bar, it takes me like 4 minutes to remove them moving at a normal pace. Some coil overs will come off without removing the tie rod bolt. It really depends. And of course this is front end up in the air wheels off. Thanks for watching.
@ClassyTacos I didn't even have to remove the tie rod
@@sweatyapplesauce Nice. Depending on the coil overs you may not have too.
Should I or will I have to replace any seals?
You should, it really depends on miles and how bad they are. Thanks for watching.
How did you wire the heated seats
They come pre wired into the seat, all you are doing is pulling power from the fuse box. A simple add a fuse into an ignition only power spot. Yes, these are way lighter than the stock seats.
Was there any weight savings with the seats
Love mine! Got black out edition. Just that ammo is overpriced.Hornandy is luckily cheapest so i get them. With that 45-70 Bigfoot will think twice about messing wirh you.
Love mine too, and yes ammo is pricey.
What exact power steering fluid did you put from valvoline ?
Factory is Dex III, thanks for watching.
a dB meter app test would have been easy for comparison with very specific detail
Yup, thanks for watching.
OUTSTANDING REVIEW! You can't come at EP for costing more. They're a small company with a direct order website only. HF is a nationwide retailer with 1500 stores. They can command a lower price with a mfr because of volume. Yeah I don't like the EP price either, and no it's not "worth" $300 more but this isn't a Napa to Autozone comparison either. I don't think EP is trying to gouge anyone, they just have a lot of overhead for a tiny company......HF has a 90 day warranty, EP 2 years. That says A LOT. I feel after that 90 days that HP isn't going to do much for you besides sell you the seven replacement parts they offer on their parts list, because they don't have to. I do like the fresh ideas HF brought to the jack with the bolt in riser, and the lever on the handle so you can maneuver better and the tool holder built in.
Thanks for watching.
I owned a 2001 for a year and love it. It’s original, so some miscellaneous things need to fix for a 20+ year old car. Second cat converter is broken and making noise, headliner sag, a/c not working properly, cd changer not working, roof drain hose is clogged. But overall, I’m glad to own a AMG Benz.
Yes, me too. I love this car.
Thanks bro!!
Thanks for watching.
What is model forend is that?
The stock and the handguard are form Chisel Machining.
Great stufff...LV Utube
Thanks, appreciate it.
2013 taco here I have 35/12.5/17 yoko geos on 17x9 -38 offset. Fenders trimed 2in, cmr, hammered fire wall and fender well. No sway bar. I rub in parts of fender well with wheel turned and stuffed. I go to the Rubicon regularly as I live close. I want 37's for a little more clearance but realize tubing is a most.
Ys, if you're rubbing now on 35s, the 37s are going to rub even more. Thanks for watching.
How have these axles held up for you so far? How about the boots?
No issues so far, boots have held up just fine. No tears or leaks yet. Thanks for watching.
Run this setup EVERY DAY, this is America. If you don't live it they will take it for sure

just the switch wiring video I was looking for!
Thanks for watching. hope it all went well.
@@ClassyTacos still waiting on CH4x4 switch, the website has a warning stating that a relay needs to be used but I didn't see you add one. Did you install one off camera? Thanks.
@@josemeza7002 That is a warning for individuals that build their own wire harnesses. The large majority of purchased harnesses have a relay built in already. I did not install one for the compressor. From my understanding the compressor has a built in realy already. Thanks for watching.
Thank you so much man, huge weight off my shoulders.

This guy has no issues putting holes in fenders.
What optic ?

I feel like this needs to be talked about more! Gone be ordering mine soon thanks! Can you still run a catch can with this setup?
Thanks for watching, not sure if you can still run a can.
Should've just got a dark series at that point 😂
Marlin just brought the modern dark series out in 2024. I like the finish of the Trapper. Thanks for watching.
Mine just landed from Australia!!! Thanks for the GREAT install video!!
Sweet, best snorkel on the market.
I’m having a hard time understanding why soldering the connections would fix the problem if the leads hooked up to it prove the motor is working already. I pulled my actuator apart and tested the motor and it all works and there’s no water or corrosion inside, yet it doesn’t want to move when it’s plugged in. Bought a new one that’s on the way but now im not convinced that I need it. I might pull it back apart and solder it.
The ADD is super frustrating. You could just wait and rest the new one. That way you will have a better understanding of the next steps. Thanks for watching.
@@ClassyTacos I think I might do that. Plug the new one in, see if it works, then solder the old connections and do what I can, plug it in and if it works then return the new one.
@@ClassyTacos thanks for the reply!
Thanks for the education in installing these. Only lost one washer, haha. Easy install to follow you along. Again, thank you!

Thanks appreciate it.
@@ClassyTacos You're welcome, liked and subscribed 👍
Im looking at doing this for my 3rd gen the options available say to notch the frame did you have to do this?
I did not. The notch in the frame is to make room for the intermediate steering shaft. You can see in the video what I did. Thanks for watching.
@@ClassyTacos ok thanks
How has this worked out since you installed it? Is there any problem in the rain or snow? This looks like a great solution for a vehicle that doesn’t get driven much. Nice video!
Thanks, appreciate it. It's been great. No issues in the rain with countless storms. I'm in FL so no review for snow. Thanks for watching.
