    Ive seen many of the prerunner (not the tacoma model) guys do the sound dampening on the rood,floor, and rear panel under the rear glass but none have done this. this is such an over looked item. great idea!

    I added that sound proofing material under the entire carpet, rear seats and head liner. 50% quieter. This is massively time consuming, but the only thing that’s really effective.

    Great stuff as always! It seems to help with highway wind noise but not road noise. I do like that you doubled up the B pillar and covered the front door hinges. I did not do either of those areas the first go around so I had to order a few more feet to add that. Thanks for the inspiration!

    wonder if this DIY would help with water getting into the cab...have you sound deaden matted under the carpet yet?

    • @ClassyTacos
      @ClassyTacos  Год назад

    How well do you think it will work for water resistance when crossing water over the door jamb?

    • @ClassyTacos
      @ClassyTacos  Год назад

      I think it will work well with the spot I installed it in. It fills the open gap tightly. Thanks for watching.
