I just believe that lever guns especially chambered in 45-70 are the best and only firearm a man ever needs. Hunting, home protection, survival in general. Never underpowered or over powered because there are so many 45-70 rounds available. From 300 Win.Mag. level to Cowboy round level. I really like the set- up you have on your 1895 45-70!! I kept a 2016 Remington made Marlin 1895 CB 45-70 exactly like it was when it was purchased. I just love the Dark American Walnut, and the semi buckhorn rear and gold bead front sights have been very adequate for hunting up to 300 yards. The only thing that limits me is my eyesight with the irons but 300 yards is sufficient enough for hunting almost any huge land mammal. I have never had any jam, misfire, or any FTF, since I bought it. It has an 18.5” octagonal barrel with Ballard rifling and it is super accurate at 100 yards using the iron sights I have always seen 1/2 inch groups with 2 or 3 rounds through the same hole!! There is no better firearm a man or woman can own period!! The only Remington made Marlin lever guns that were not superb in fit, finish, and function were before the year 2016. Before then Remington was using all the Marlin lever gun parts they inherited when Remington acquired Marlin Company from J.M. Marlin. Before 2016 all the lever guns were solely J.M. Marlin and assembled by former J.M. Marlin workers. Beginning in 2016 is when Remington started producing all Marlin lever gun parts on brand new CNC close tolerance machine tools. Remington in 2016 started making the best Marlin lever guns ever made!! If you can find one on line 2016 or after you will own one of the best Marlin 1895 45-70 lever guns ever made. It never should have been said Remlin? If people had done their research, it would have been J.M. Marlin left over junk!!
Do not shave the hammer the bolt should bump the hammer right at the tip of the bolt, that is what cocks the hammer. after that bump it should no longer drag on the bolt. there are a few videos on here that show and explain the need for the bump.
I'm a lever gun noob and just purchased my 1895 sbl. My action is pretty rough at times and I was trying to research what I should do. It gets hung up sometimes when trying to bring my loop back up and it's annoying. Any tips?
Start with checking to see if the loading gate is getting slightly caught on the round pull mechanism. Other than that, I would take it in to an armor. Have them look at it. They may be able to smooth everything out on the internals or at least find your issue. It might be something super simple. You may just need to cycle the action a couple hundred times. Thanks for watching.
Hope it gets to you soon. The glove company is called gripit sports. Look up gripit gloves. They are not really shooting gloves, made for mountain biking. Thanks for watching.
I’ve been telling my boyz to check your channel out! All the builds and mods you get done by yourself, great content! But by far the best video that cracked me up is the “CRAFTING” vid🤣, I laughed so loud my wife said I gotta stop smokin my shiat! I’m glad your doing arms now…. Ruger has good customer service. Just send it in for free...
Hi there. Still waiting for my Trapper here in Denmark. Fingers crossed. Anyway who makes those shooting gloves of yours?

Niceee
Thanks
Have you shot it with a silencer? If so, what was the recoil like with sub and super? Thanks!
I have not shot it with any suppressors. I'm in the waiting game at this point. Thanks for watching.
Nice brotha! Whats the total weight with all the mods increased too?
Thank you. I’ll need to get that for you, give me a couple days. We don’t have scales here.
@@ClassyTacos no worries bro, it’s really really difficult to get that ammo here in the islands! That would make a perfect boar gun. 🤙🏼
@@KenE808 I see, it's expensive here. It must be crazy by you.

@@KenE808 Thanks man, I appreciate it. Hope you're unscathed over there.
