- Thanks for stoping by. Today I'm installing a set of LED whips on the Taco. Overall the instal was not hard, it was just blazing hot. These whips are decent for the price, we will see how they hold up over time. I really like that these are flexible and come with quick disconnects. I don't want them on the truck at all times. It's super convenient that this set comes with wiring for the turn signals, hazards, brake lights, and reverse lights. I originally was not going to install them like that, but changed my mind mid install. I think it's super cool they pick up the trucks factory functions. Happy I changed my mind. All links below, thanks for watching. Like and sub as it really helps the channel.
There will be a part two where I will breakdown the functions in more detail at night.

That was intense when you cut the first wire not knowing if it was the right one. Great install!
Thanks for watching.
Dude! That is SUPER COOL!!
Appreciate it, thanks for watching.
Mounting LED whips on the corners, especially in amber are useful when on the trail at night, not only because it makes you more visible, but further provides light close to the vehicle making it easier to determine if you have obstacle clearance without having to use your offroad light bar which will likely produce too much light.
Agreed, thanks for watching.
Looks dope as hell dude!
Thanks stud.
Ohhhh!! Those ARE dope!!
Thanks.
🔥🔥🔥 looks so good!!!
Thank you
Great video. I just ordered the same kit after watching your video. Quick question, when you disconnect the whip light, how do you keep the connector water proof
So far I have just let it dangle in the bed upper corners. No issues yet. It's a 3 prong connector tucked into a sleeve. A little die electric grease and it has been fine. Thanks for watching.
I just used a 4pin trailer plug and plug them in when I want to use them
Like $12 at Home Depot
@@brianlarson9989 that not a bad idea. Still had to wire it up. With these they will just disconnect at the whip. Thanks for watching
