Whenever I want to hear great drumming, I listen to Steve's work on 'Aja' by Steely Dan - incredible! What a genius Chick Corea was. Probably the greatest Jazz pianist ever? He left a fantastic legacy and will be remembered forever. He has truly Returned to Forever!!!!

Rhea Foster this is at sala são Paulo considered amongst the 10 best concert halls in the world specifically due to its incredible acoustics (which do not come across here) . It looks like a gym or something becouse of the camera angle which is facing the exclusive and more expensive tickets situated where a choir would usually be sitting the actual public is behind the camera. They played 2 dates side by side due to the high demand. So beleive me as someone who worked on the production that this was very well received and appreciated by all who had the privilege to go see em. :D
Chick and Steve are fabulous musicians. Saw him play with Electric band in Chautauqua NY last summer, never better. These guys would play anywhere because the love the music. From Carnegie Hall to this gym, they are treasured as performers. Too bad the younger generation is not exposed to these guys while they still live and play.
The sound in this Sala, is terrible....the drumming is like hitting empty carton boxes... I prefer to listen the same legend song, from the professional sound in Barcelona, with an excellent bassist and flute players

Chick had such an amazing melodic and harmonic sense. His music made you feel good inside and touched your soul. RIP!
