I'm 28 years old, and this song got me through my battle with Cancer. When I wanted to give up and quit, I would listen to this song, and it would keep me fighting. I'm now 6 months Cancer free!! 💪💪🎗🎗🎗🎗🎗🎗🎗

My Gadd he his so great. Who knows how much longer he'll be doing in it for. There are no words really to describe how superb Gadd is. An amazing musician and nobody plays anything like him. Untouchable.
I was very lucky to have played with Steve Gadd, Wayne Shorter, Eddie Gomez, Hugh McCracken, Toots Thielmans and others on a Philippe Sarde film soundtrack in Paris in the 80's. I even gave Steve a lift from his hotel in the centre of town to the studio beyond Bois de Boulonge. An incredible musician, and such a down-to-earth guy.
They have such a good feel! Sometimes I imagine that I am in small club somewhere in New York, sitting in the bar with my drink and listen to them. God bless them all!
Steve does it all. He's been on so many albums with so many different musicians and styles of playing and sounds great on all. He has the ability to add so much with his subtle ideas and complementary approach.

Danke für das schöne Konzert. Ich war dort und es hat mir sehr gefallen. Immer eine schöne Erinnerung. In Kombination mit der WDR-Big Band vorher einfach ein phänomenaler Abend im schönen Erholungshaus.
I am a fairly accomplished rock guitarist. Nor great, but not bad either. Whatever. My point is that I know rock inside and out. But jazz is still a wonderful mystery to me. And I'm going to keep it that way. It makes it even MORE incredible than it already is.
Here is a setlist: 01 Cape Fear 02 Where's Earth 03 The Long Way Home (Michael Landau) 04 Timpanogosn (Walt Fowler) 05 Hidden Drive 06 Sly Boots (Larry Goldings) 07 Cavaliero (Larry Goldings) 08 Way Back Home (Wilton Felder) 09 Blues for … 10 Skulk 11 The Windup (Keith Jarrett) 12 Watching the River Flow (Bob Dylan)
Steve Gadd bewundere ich schon seit seiner Zusammenarbeit mit Rickie Lee Jones (Pirates) und Chick Corea (Friends). Schön, dass seine Karriere noch lange nicht ihr Finale gefunden hat!
Which one is Steve Gadd? One thing I know for sure is that drummer is killer! If he gets famous I can imagine a lot of people that would want him to record with them! 😄

I wouldn't go door to door and tell everyone about it... the Grim Reaper doesn't sleep either...
Actually it was the "Holy Spirit" intervention on Your behalf to "God" The Father 🙏

Gadd was on just about every Jazz Fusion album I had back in the day. The studio musician drummer. Great to see he is still jamming.
WDR this is an amazing content, the quality is outstanding! Thank you for an excellent work!
Man, Larry Goldings is one bad mofo! The way he seamlessly blends the vocabulary of jazz with gospel, blues and R&B never fails to amaze. 😎

Steve Gadd is the drummer, and he is famous, rated as one of the best drummers in the world.
Right? Good luck to that young fella!
Your comment was naively sweet. You’ll enjoy deep-diving into the genius that is Steve Gadd. 👍🏼
Does anybody know the secret behind the "MAFIA" or "MAF/A" stickers on the Nord Stage2" (GREAT show, btw!!!!!)
😍👍🎸
A B S O L U T E L Y A W E S O M E ! ! ! ! !
It’s rare to see Larry on acoustic piano. Cool “LA studio” band in a jazzy setting.
What’s the Time signature on Sly boots?
Grupazo

There is no passion in music, much worse than in the 80s and 90s
