Found by searching for Chico Allotta, and I couldn't be happier. I'm a big fan of funk, soul and jazz and this ticks all my musical boxes (including sublime harmonies), and plenty of tasty horns ! It's like the most ambrosial musical cuisine ever.

This is a musical jam session for us fanatics! This performance reminds me of the Overtime Lee Ritenour (2004) DVD I bought and watched in total awe. What makes this special for me is how recent (March 2024) this video is. I can always depend on Jean-Paul 'Bluey' Maunick for my favorite music, and introducing me to extremely talented musical artists like Chicco Allotta. Besides the gifted vocalists Cheri V and Natalie Duncan a few of lead vocalists that have performed with Incognito are: Maysa Leak Imaani Saleem Joy Rose Kelli Sae Jocelyn Brown Chaka Khan A few more great vocalists and musicians from the UK that are still actively making their own wonderful music are: Swing Out Sister Basia Hil St. Soul Shakatak Workshy I am blessed to have so many sources of beautiful music.
Bluey and Incognito showed how much they love Stevie Wonder's music when they played "Don't You Worry 'bout A Thing" (19:23)! It's amazing when extremely talented vocalists and musicians perform a great Stevie Wonder song. One of my favorite Incognito songs is "1975" (34:54). I first watched the video when Joy Rose was the lead vocalist. With Cherri V this performance of "1975" is every bit as good.
Love this sound I had forgotten about this band for a few years. Coming back to them now, love the groove as a bass player and wow what a bass line in these songs. Love it.
