I've been trying to nail this solo. It's kind of tough with some of the smaller details. I feel that Iommi's solos are very much improvised and that's what makes them difficult to learn because it's hard to get that exact same feeling down.
He's playing the fuzz-only version. The other one is played through a ring modulator as well. Thankfully they're hard panned left & right. If you don't know how to isolate them, try Audacity. When you learn it, take the average, or the most exciting to you. Add some of your own spice to make it your own, but stick to the overall plan (please, not like Ozzy's other guitarists). Personally, I make some of the bends double-stopped so it kinda gets a Motörhead flavour to it. Roughly the same approach goes for their first six or seven albums.
I should add: search here on RUclips for Iommi playing it live in the 70s, 80s, and 90s. Really very different. It shows how he grew as an instrumentalist, while also showing how embarrassed he was at the simplicity of it. He just needed someone to tell him it's a classic, don't change it.
