Your guys’ videos help me so so much. I don’t know why this channel isn’t more famous but please don’t stop.

Never underestimate the power of the social environment you are frequenting; some are simply invalidating beyond belief, no hope of emotional regulation there

Especially when we understand what makes us attracted to people who are like past abusers. I read Dr. Gabor Maté's books and one of Dr. Nicole Lepera's books, and am trying to use the tips regularly. However, Dr. Maté strongly recommends getting the unconditional love we didn't get from our parents from a therapist. If we don't get that, we're going to have a much harder time becoming emotionally regulated than if we get professional help.

6:48 Framing self-judgment as ‘creating an unsafe emotional environment’ is extremely helpful. I fall into self-judgment too often and want to change. Thank you so much for this insight. I had to go back and listen again…

Your page and Cinema therapy is always so helpful to me. I cannot afford therapy, and so my therapy is both of these channels. Every time I watch them, I feel so much better. Thank you

I'm focusing hard right now on healing trauma and growing up. I literally have a list of a half dozen videos I watch every day right now, to fully soak it in. Several of the videos are Alicia and Jono's :) I'm thankful that I found them

All those times I shoulded myself! Oh man I don’t feel called out but I feel really called to exercise more self-compassion than I do. Which starts with not telling myself what I should or shouldn’t have done.
More like: I choose to exercise self-compassion by letting go of resenting myself.

Can you please explain more on how to change an emotion related to a behaviour (either your emotion related to your own behaviour or your emotion related to another’s behaviour)?
Thanks for all you do ❤

Heyy, I came to ask for a reaction video! Recently we had the third and last season of Young Royals and I’d like to know your thoughts about Wilhelm’s birthday in episode 5 on witch he has an argument with his parents! I love your channel ❤

Good video just one thing. The stereo feature is a bit annoying when listening in headphones. His voice entirely in one ear and hers in the other. For me makes it harder to concentrate on the content
