There are cup holders in the back. It's the pen holder that you pressed. If you press it half way once again than it pops out the cup holder behind it. And there's also AR navigation on the HUD. You just either didn't know the settings to turn it on (since the HUD has multiple designs to choose from in the menu) or this particular car didn't have that spec. But it do have the AR navigation in the HUD. And you took your head away from driver's display that's why the display dimming on the passenger display did not work because the sensor that monitors your eye movement is right in front of you on the driver's display. You took the your head completely out of view of the driver's display hence the sensor couldn't track your eye movement or else it would have worked perfectly fine.
The funniest thing to me is that from dead-on side profile, this $100,000+ Mercedes in this blue looks the same as the $22,000 2019 Kia Sorento I just bought in an almost identical blue. Once you angle slightly to the front or back you can clearly see they’re nowhere close to the same car but from the side, especially at a quick look, they look the same.
@@YoungGuruFreestyles yeah but Mercedes going to hell and back with the screens, I’m still going to pick a sorento over either EQS. The EQB on the other hand, I’d probably be ok with but there’s no way I’d be ok with having half a TV in my cars console area.

I really, really dislike the big slab of plastic all the EVs seem to be putting in place of the grill. They all look terrible...especially considering the $100K cost!
Very few of the traditional auto makers have taken advantage of EV engineering opportunities. None of the Germans, but a few of the Koreans have done a decent job.

A lot of screens and lighting but no real progress as far as automobiles go it still doesn't have hands free driving and at that price it's range can be better and it looks like a rental car outside

Name a car with a crazier interior! Comment below!
The new 7 series is up there too. BTW love your videos from Toronto!

Mercedes makes you feel something different! you're not just driving a CAR! you're driving the MERCEDES BENZ EXPERIENCE!
Would make me feel like I was driving a Toyota Sienna. It’s fucking hideous.

We just got our Eqs and absolutely love it. Very comfortable and exactly what we would expect from Mercedes as their electric car debut.
It definitely looks like a minivan. I’m waiting for them to put that full screen in a G wagon. Then, they’ll have my attention lol
Finally first! Been waiting on this review,
Woohoo!
Thanks for another great review. I was looking really hard at this suv until your pointed out the mini van look on the side. Onto the next.
Does the hybrid model have the same incredible cockpit screen (s)?
Amazing review!
I like the color on this EV car! nice job bro.
Looks much better than the sedan. This design language translates very well to the SUV shape
Um…there is a cup holder in the middle row
They should put all of this technology in a gls body
in Canada you can have the vehicle raised for whenever it snows since side roads aren't priority for snow removal
How's the vehicle when temperature is under -10? I heard some people said they ran into problems in colder weather
Test drove it,... OH MY ,... me likey,.. gimme gimme❤
very good EV SUV for rich people 💰💰💰

@@brandon2755 It's optional. You can get the same screen as an S-Class as standard.
Yes, night is nice.
It’s not just a pin holder in the middle row. If you press it again, the cup holders pop out. Over engineered, I know …

imagine how expensive it would be just even fixing minor damage to this car lol
Mercedes has platforms for decades. What makes you think that might be something new?
Hold up. You need to pay subscription for a hardware upgrade...????
I dont like the exterior but I love the interior
Who wants a disco, in a car?
All the lights flashing inside reminds me of a techno dance club. Rather ordinary on the outside. I doubt they will really sell that many.

The Range Rover is the best SUV
They’ve certainly missed the mark with no frunk and that body shape 😬. However that interior and range are great
Do not worry about charging your battery past 80%… you will not be keeping the vehicle past its warranty…

100% escalade V , i don't like eqs look
Escalade has like double the speakers also

Definitely not refit. Its a whole new vodu style, its just most of the computer components live in there and they want no ome to touch it.
