I had Deja Vu on the spindle in 1974, when I was an unemployed 19 y.o. youngster living at home with my parents, and trying to make myself useful doing yardwork. As it happens we had "two cats in the yard" too! I have been revisiting CSNY bigtime since the death of Crosby. They sound just as great now as they did then! Some kind of genius we don't see too much of any more!
This is the early version of this masterpiece tune which is great but you need to the hear the version of this tune that David Crosby does with his Biological son that he gave up for adoption back in the days and met with him much, much later and that version is awesome. CPR(Crosby, Pevar & Raymond). His Biological son name is James Raymond....
When Croz boarded the boat for home, my entire generation collectively said, under our breath,..... "Oh, fvck...."" The one and only CSN&Y. Thank you, gents, for the music.
Radio always played the gimmicky CSN songs on air and never played the good ones > For that reason I never made an effort to see them live I missed out on show's like this .
This is from the September 14th, 1974 concert at Wembley Stadium. Yes, it's worth knowing! The full Wembley concert contains some gems that I can't find as separate clips, although there are also some weak spots. You can find it here: ruclips.net/video/3To8bmGLA-0/видео.html
I wonder what was going on between Croz and Stephen, because this is a really difficult song with delicate harmonies. But Steven just didn't sing his part in the first half of it, drinking s.th., didn't seem to care about what was going on. When he joined the others playing guitar it seemed as if he wanted to adress Croz in a special way (as he sometimes did), and in the second part he sang kind of out of tune. It is well known that this song was very dear to David. One of his special songs, so to speak. Did Stephen intend to punish him for s.th.? We'll never know. But first of all the audience was being punished!
One of the greatest bands in rock history. Four talents united. RIP David Crosby.
I saw them in 1974 at Oakland Coliseum and they played for over 3 hrs. It was magical to say the least....🎼🎵🎶🎤🎹🎸🎸🎸
This clearly shows the greatness they achieved in their prime! I wish there was more!
Stills is the magic ofCSNY
There is supposed to be a huge documentary coming out but their end fighting was slowing it down

They almost kissed at the 5 minute mark. CSN was my first show. The Band opened. Saw them at least a dozen times after.
David Crosby passed away today! 2023! Rest in peace David!

This song is a masterpiece & so are Stillskin's sideburns.
My favorite CSNY song.
We strive for harmony !!!😎❤️we all do.
This looks like the Wembley concert I went to in 1974. My mind was blown.
Stills and Crosby interplay is amazing and then Young on piano is killa !!
Like their tightness during the lead solos- keeping within musical spirit of things...
No kidding- that and Young's Big Sur playing came from another planet.
Croz absolutely on top of his game right here!!
Stills talent always very eclipsing, but Croz shows his musical brilliance also is formidable...
unbelievable version of this song -thanks so much for posting.. love the interplay between Crosby & Stills
Goodbye Croz! Thank You! RIP
We all HAVE been here before! Thank you for sharing this!
