Performing those songs live and sounding nearly perfectly like the studio versions is absolutely astonishing. I was mesmerized. I’m 72 and like many of David’s admirers I’ve been listening to his music since The Byrds. “Those were the days my friend…we hoped they’d never end” - I don’t know about you brothers and sisters but I was smiling during this entire video. Rest peacefully David…we love you. 🙏
The best 49 minutes you will ever spend watching this. A stage chock full of serious talent led by the one and only Croz, and the looks of pure joy on the faces of the kids from St Mo High choir and band was just beautiful. I'm going back to watch it again now. Rest in Peace David.
Beautifully stated❣️ I remember when Super-Cussions came to ESHS and it was a once in a lifetime kind of a treat I don't know if they still tour USA-HS's but it's definitely a memory that will remain I was lucky enough to have met this man but I still can't imagine what it must have been like to SING with the CROZ... OMG I too was just feeling what they must have been feeling - just meeting him I was up on a cloud for 14+ hrs couldn't get to sleep that night. He had an aura I don't think He even was aware of that was gifted/shared with us Fans.
Agree with every word. I have sent to my kids in their late 30’s and early 40’s. What makes this so special is the addition of the SM choir and orchestra and Malibu Drum Corps. Fun to see young people really getting into it. One of the best concerts you will ever see with David Crosby rocking the center stage. Thank you Venice for making this beautiful tribute..
I will tell you, man. I'm 14 years old, born in November of 2009. And I've got it in my heart to keep rockin the way these folks did in your era. I've got a drum set, bass, electric and acoustic. Harmonica, keyboard. And the only band I've ever seen live was The Doobie Brothers. Money well spent. If you're losing hope, you can rest assured there's at least one of us out here gonna keep the culture alive.
Guinnevere is simply one of the most beautiful songs ever written. RIP David and thanks for all the music which was a soundtrack for my youth....🎼🎵🎶🎤🎸🎸

David’s music was much more than just the playlist of our lives. He was its heart and soul as well. He was our voice against unfairness and injustice, and he showed us that the only way we could win was through love.
Towards the end, put 7 men together in a room and watch and hear and feel magic happening. Let men be men and women be women. Lets not imitate but be genuine and be creative. That last song was, is and will remain forever monumental. It vibrates through my spine each time I hear it. Its the pinnacle of their legacy. Saw CSN once in Montreux. They kept playing. From 8 pm until midnight. Just unbelievable. It was like standing on the Matterhorn and taking in awe. Mind blowing.
I just found this! I am so glad I did! RIP David, you were one of the most loved voices of our generation. RIP, brother. We will all be with you soon. Peace and Love!
"Guinnevere" is such a beautiful, hypnotic song...these Santa Monica kids had me at the opening, really well done - I'm sure it's not an easy piece for a band to play. David's best composition, by far.
"A fitting tribute to David" - and then some. It is exquisite. The 'Carry on' in particular. Thank you. And again - my heartfelt condolences on the passing of a great man.
Saw Crosby - Nash at Leicester De Montfort Hall. Possibly my greatest experience ever (though winning the Premier League was pretty cool). I have seen CSN and Neil, but that night in Leicester topped them all. I was blessed. What a huge loss. The thing about Crosby - yes, he was cantankerous at times - but, he believed in what he was doing. It's all about the truth. It's great that people get to share video like this. He was, and remains, a great American export.
This show is so good... the songs, ( of course ) the audio mix, the video coverage, and the editing are all TOP NOTCH... PLEASE keep this video available on RUclips for years to come... I refer back to it often to see David and all the band members, and to hear that choir sing, especially on the song "Carry On"... Thank you Venice The Band and all the people who participated and contributed to putting this very high-quality performance together for us, out here in RUclips land... thank you to David, Stephen, Graham, and Neil for so many wonderful songs... God bless all... and yes, David is missed very much...
Crushing me! Regardless of all the trials and tribulations of David's long and colorful life, one fact rings true. David Crosby is a legend. Thank you so much for this.
That was fantastic. David having a ball with those amazing friends around him. The school choir, band and the horns just made me weep with the joy of it all and knowing those brilliant songs will be around for a long time to come.
Great concert !!!! I know that somewhere up in heaven David is harmonizing with some angels and getting a band together ! R.I.P. David you are truly missed.
Saw him with Venice at the song school at planet bluegrass in lyons Co. Campfire jam with songwriters and david sat in and did Guenevere solo at the campfire. A gift from above for those who were there.
Amazing group of musicians, including all those HS Students exhibiting their talents in the 'Choir', as well as all the 'Instrumentalists'😲 'Ohio' always brings tears to my eyes, especially since our son graduated from Kent State, as well as us living in Ohio for 10yrs. Never get tired of listening to 'David Crosby'; he truly was one of the 'Best Musicians' of our generation🙏 BTW-whoever 'produced' this RUclips video did an 'Excellent Job'. Not only did they provide a 'brief description', but also 'Credited' everyone who participated in this concert, including those 'behind the scenes'. Also loved them adding 'video captions' for each song being played☺
To paint an image with words and music is the Divine in action. David was human with all its struggles but his heart was always open to the Divine ♥️♥️ watch over us crazy humans David, you are home with a job well done💔❤️
What great music and musicians, so tight and the sound, 👏👏Beautiful 🤙RIP David these songs will last forever along with the Beatles and Beethoven through time😇
'The Beatles' set the table, brought it to America and CSNY took it from there drinking of the blessed and eternal wines of all the love drunk Angels in Heaven. Amen

So great!!! OMG love you guys forever 🤩🤩🤩
I keep leaving comments as this video keeps getting better as it plays, what a climax!!!! Long live Davids music.
Outstanding, appreciate the high school bands enthusiasm. The best.
What a great way to honour the legend that is David Crosby.
Thank you so much for all the hard work!
Sure does make a difference to have the fellas from America singing backup! Excellent!!!
WOW!!! My musical love for David and Venice knows no bounds. This was a joyous treat. Thank you, David, for all the music.

That was fantastic. David having a ball with those amazing friends around him. The school choir, band and the horns just made me weep with the joy of it all and knowing those brilliant songs will be around for a long time to come.
A brilliant tribute to David & hard not to smile watching the joy of these magnificently talented musicians!
The backstage bonus was amazing as well ❤
You have to appreciate how the guitarists makes a point in soloing in the rhythmic, melodic, and syncopated style of Stills.
Great concert !!!! I know that somewhere up in heaven David is harmonizing with some angels and getting a band together ! R.I.P. David you are truly missed.
We miss you so much David Crosby. Come back. Best singer-songwriter ever....RIP
Saw him with Venice at the song school at planet bluegrass in lyons Co. Campfire jam with songwriters and david sat in and did Guenevere solo at the campfire. A gift from above for those who were there.
Super awesome Crosby was iconic we all will miss him very much
Will never get tired of listening D. Crosby!
What a voice! He's 70 yrs old! Even McCartney will be amazed.
Never get tired of listening to 'David Crosby'; he truly was one of the 'Best Musicians' of our generation🙏
BTW-whoever 'produced' this RUclips video did an 'Excellent Job'.

'The Beatles' set the table, brought it to America and CSNY took it from there drinking of the blessed and eternal wines of all the love drunk Angels in Heaven. Amen
