Little bit of Billy Preston trivia - he used to say "If you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with." Stephen Stills asked him if he could use that - wanted to write a song around it. And that's history. Thanks for this recording. Love both of these guys.
He’s one hell of a fighter …. The solo riff at the end of song one is great , and as always he is in time . Like Keith Richards says “ it’s not how you play, it’s what you play “ ……
No shit! And Joe's mic could have been mixed-in hotter. But he's super nice to do the gig for vets. SUCH a great guy (I've met the Eagles 3 times and have known his/their manager Irving Azoff since 1977...was an FM radio personality for 40 years).

Little bit of Billy Preston trivia - he used to say "If you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with." Stephen Stills asked him if he could use that - wanted to write a song around it. And that's history. Thanks for this recording. Love both of these guys.
Joe makes me feel proud of America 🇺🇸
Joe is fighting his way through those first 2 songs, the band , Uncle Larry and these beautiful ladies are doin' great ...
Fight? That’s a voice that’s lived life, but those bloody fingers are still stuck in the 70s. There must be some Mississippi crossroads where Joseph made a pact cos as guitarist he still got it. Big respect to you Joe. Any chance of you coming over here to england I will put you up 😂😂😂
@@Escape_From_UK he had to warm up, but then he was on track ...
We are blessed to still have these talented people in our lives! Thank you God!
Those two albums Stills made with Kenny Wayne Shepherd as “The Rides” were phenomenal. Wish they’d done more together, especially a “live” album.
Thank you for posting this. Great video but even better to see Stills and Walsh looking so healthy.
Listen how well they can play guitar, 👍
That's what should be
Copying Joe when I was 15 taught me how to play guitar. I'm 67 now, still love playing along ♫ #Legend #guitarhero
Marshall's and Les Paul's are still doing it. Amazing! 🎉 Guild, Ibanez, Fender Strat too!
Joe Walsh is timeless. 🕉
He is an analog man however!
James Gang
The Eagles
Ringo Starr Allstars
Joe Walsh
Thank you Joe and may you live very long and happy I remember your music when I was 20 and now I am 67 and it is wonderful to hear your old famous songs!!!

People with zero musical taste
Joe is a freak of nature! U got to love him. Been listening to him for 50 years now!
Been watching these two since my days at Kent State in the early 1970’s.. they can still rock the guitars!
Hello Danny, how are you doing today
See him live in the beginning in Kent in the 60's till now...............WOWWWWWW HOW PRIVILEGE CAN ONE BE.
Yep.........back in the Measles days at Kent !!
I also as a student at Kent State and was a good friend of Foxy (J.Gang drummer) and would always be at their practice sessions and local bar gigs (Kent, Stowe, Akron). Their 1st album was at Kent Water Station in background, Funk 49 3 of them on motorcycles they borrowed from a bike gang during a drunken spree up to the "House on the Hill" in Kent. Am lucky I made it through my sophomore year, Joe didn't, left to become a star as James Gang. Luv u Joe & the memories. Another local great and friend was Patti Smith.
Me too!! 😊❤
A big thank-you to you Joe from the Vet's of OHIO, you showed us during 1968 & 1969 GOD BLESS
Pffff 😇 bless yourselff, nothing to do with that fictional figure
"Okie doke, thanks for comin'."
So solidly Midwest. What's not to love?
The age is starting to show on Joe... Thanks Joe & Stephen for standing up for us.. By the way I know how it feels, I am a guitarist and it's getting hard.
I hear you, I play in a band of early 70 year olds. We play out 4 or 5 times a month. I can still play guitar, harp and mandolin but our drummer impresses me the most. Still the great drummer he was in his 20s.
Thanks for playing w/ your best Friend Joe Vitale ! And keeping it all going ! Head for Oregon kids !
A complete and total Joe Walsh smoke show. Good Night Funk 49.....incredible
Best Hour of live music 'Ive heard in a while!Joe Walsh and Stephen Stills are two of Rock n Rolls greatest!!
2greats on the stage and still playing great music 🎵🎶
Do they realise how good they are together. These two need to go on tour, just magnificent. You “yanks” are so lucky 😊
Joe Walsh nailed it - if you already look old when you're young you'll look young when you're old.
Brilliant. Still killing it - thanks for putting this up man!
Joe Walsh and Stephen Stills the 70’s rocked, Joe still has his classic voice, 😮Joe handles that guitar like a baby🎶
Stephen Stills can still play that guitar love the songs he did, great music and era❤
ALL NIGHT LONG🎊
Love Joe Walsh .Been hooked since Funk 49 and that's along, along time. Keep going brother.
Not only can he play but A great story teller also ❤❤❤joe w.
Thank you for the music,
Musical genius - Stephen Stills!
Awesome Joe🙏God Bless our Vets. I'd luv to see a reunion of Walsh & Felder. That would be kool af👍🤠🌵
Smokin' Joe is still one of the best guitar players around. Totally underrated behind some of British blues players.
He's as great as any white blues player from Europe or British origins. He can 😂hold his own. He should have played with Thin Lizzy 😢😢😢
Pete Townsend loves him.
You're great, Joe.
Would absolutely love if this recording of Turn To Stone would get out on Spotify
Hay joe Ricky here great job man, greenville county, South Carolina.
O M S O S (Old musician still on stage) Just to hear the instruments- the vocals will never be the same. Those fingers and skills hold up so well, but the darn vocal chords just can handel the range.
Hi Joseph, how are you doing today
True legend he’s like fine Italian wine he just gets better with age God Bless Him
Joe Walsh, Stephen Stills & Joe Vitale. Awesome show from awesome people !
Funk 49 and the Walsh Power Band with angel backup singers
Uncle Larry really lays down the foundation for Joe, and he never showboats. What a great sideman.
I have a few of Joe's solo LPs and his James Gang group LPs.. Saw C.S.N.& Young in Chicago at the auditorium way back in 1978. It has been a great life without mentioning all my concerts but I will mention Led Zeppelin in 1975. Peace and Happy New Year rockers ! I made it to age 73. Yay!!!
Love these guys. Getting old is a bitch. Keep on keeping on.
I'm a long time fan of both of these guys and I thought it was going to suck but I enjoyed this show. They were both better than I expected. Back up band did a great job.
It did suck poor playing by Joe And Just hollering not his normal style time to Quit
The one and only Joe Walsh!
Imagine the things these 2 legends have seen and done.
I had the privilege of seeing Joe in concert back in 1976 in Dayton, Ohio.
Love those great backup singers . another Wow!
The great Joe Walsh, still good as ever SIR !!!!!
I was just thinking of these two playing together
It's like watching two old friends strumming together. It was beyond a pleasure to be in the audience that night. I'm only 21, but I know that was the best concert I will ever be at. And don't even get me started on seeing ELO live just before this set...
ELO is fantastic! What a great concert you witnessed!
Loved those three dark angles!
Angles? Dont you mean angels (!!!)
Thanks Joe. Were lucky your the same after all you've been thru. Life's been good to me too.
