Harmony, great songs, and fabulous guitar are what Crosby, Stills, and Nash are famous for. Our generation of the 60s and 70s had the best music in the history of Rock. That's our legacy.
I loved Crosby's voice, lyrical talent and guitar work. The only thing that tarnished it was his addiction and how badly he hurt those who loved and supported him. Graham Nash treated him like a brother and even that love had to give in to self preservation and take a step back and that is so fucking sad for all involved.
Every live performance I've experienced from them has been a master class on how to blend exemplary talents and leave ego backstage. We don't need to know how the sausage is made. All we need do is appreciate what is up there blowing us away.
Great composition, the song gives space between chords and instrumentation to breathe and the listener to digest the sound. The space between notes are as important as the notes themselves.
Here listening to an all time great tune on a sad day … the passing of Mr David Crosby. You gave me many great pleasures listening to your works. Say hello to God for me…
What a magnificent performance. I was at the show held at The Tower Theater in Upper Darby, PA just outside of Philly. One of the best shows I every saw.
And what makes their opinions wrong? ... I am going to hazard a guess and say, "your opinion". Same could be said about you I would think. Everyone has an opinion...some have a bigger audience...all sides have a right to be heard and we all get to choose which ones we believe to be closest to our ideology. That's what this country was founded on.
@mauricepowers8079 Well because what they say does not correspond with the political parties they support. They claim to be STRONGLY anti war yet have backed the military industrial complex, & never ending illegal wars through their Strong Democratic Support. Unless of course, you are correct, and I'm making an incorrect assumption (i see it more as an observation) perhaps they are being hypocritical on purpose?
@@fredstriker2042 I don't see it as a contradiction. They were dead set against WAR and conflict but they viewed the GOP as more dangerous to the well being of American society. Which is how I feel today.
RIP David Crosby. We'll never forget you.

Just like the lead singer of Disturbed.

"It's been a Long time Coming" 1/19/23. Hope you found Jesus Dave.
Dont youuuuuuuuuu
Who wins in terms of harmonies?
-CSNY
-The Eagles
-Simon and Garfunkel
The Eagles has the advantage for having more singers. However, I can’t pick a winner.
Discuss?
Can't possibly do a comparison...Apples and Oranges.
Only thing missing is Still's bass guitar solo....
The album cut sounds much faster in tempo than the live version. Wonder why, lololol
Freebasin brothers on The road again?
Am I the only one who thinks David Crosby's voice doesn't match his appearance?
Crosby has a voice of an angel.
ddddddddddddddd
Brilliant musicians but completely clueless politically.
That's funny. Wrong, but funny.
